"We had an ok stay in Mua Caves Ecolodge. The location is great if you want to get away from the city. The views from the temple on top of the mountain in the hotel are really nice. If you rent a bicycle or scooter you can explore the region easily and the scenario is great! What we didn't like about the hotel was the restaurant. The food is bellow average when compared to basically anywhere you eat around town. The dishes are not worth it at all, even with the cheap prices."

"Hai and Chilly were fabulous hosts, communicative and always happy to assist in any way. As it was winter we opted to stay in the village. The family sized room with 2 king beds and bathroom plus your own seating and hammock out the front situated in lovely gardens was a great place to recover after doing the Ha Giang Loop. "I picked Sapaxa as I wanted to experience Sapa much closer to nature. There are only 8 cottages so it is such an itimate vibe. Mua really helped with everything that you need and really my made my stay so much better. The bed is one of the most comfortable bed you'll ever sleep on! An hour hike away is a Hmong village, easy hike and do not miss out on the herbal bath in the village. The water pressure in the shower is not the best but the hot water at least is very good.
