We loved Swiftwater Carriage House! Before we even got there, we were impressed with the owners' responsiveness. I contacted Jeff for some local recommendations, and he got back to me immediately. He also welcomed us the day we arrived, but then just checked in with us occasionally by text. We stayed at Swiftwater for 5 nights. Its location put us close to Niagara Falls--the US and Canadian sides, the walking tour of Buffalo, the Naval and Military Park in Buffalo, and Anchor Bar for their famous wings. It was an easy drive to Toronto, Canada, and to the vineyards south of Buffalo. If we'd had more time, we could've experienced even more because the area is chocked full of history and interesting places to visit. The carriage house itself is located in an older neighborhood that is a great place to walk. We loved walking up and down the streets to see some great old homes. We also walked to a nearby restaurant. The carriage house has been totally updated. It is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The owners have equipped the home with essentials that made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. At the end of our days of sightseeing, I always told my husband that I wanted to go "home." No, not all the way back to Tennessee; but to our home-away-from-home, Swiftwater Carriage House. We loved that place, and, in many ways, hated to leave.
