Maplewood Lakehouse in Newport

 5 minutes from I95 in Newport, this stunning 3-story Lakehouse sits steps from the water and just minutes from Walmart, grocery stores and other local restaurants. Boasting 250ft of water frontage and a massive 4.5 acres of manicured grass lawn, it is located on the eastern side of Sebasticook Lake and is a short walk away from Moosehead Trail. The spacious, 3000sqft Lakehouse features plenty of parking and is just a 30 minute drive away from concerts and live entertainment in Bangor.

Guests have access to the 40ft dock and beautiful Sebasticook Lake swimmable water, perfect for fishing and water sports. There is 6 kayaks, 2 paddleboards and a paddleboat on site as well as life jackets for children and adults. 4.5 acres of lawn allows guests plenty of space and privacy to enjoy their Maine lakefront vacation in peace. Lawn games, fire pit (with access to on-site firewood) as well as a volleyball net are perfect for making memories at the lake. The lake is rocky so be sure to bring some flip flops or water shoes. A short, gentle walk down across the beautiful grass lawn will allow you to access the shoreline and water front. The dock can be found underneath oak and maple trees along the shoreline, providing a nice shady spot out of the sun to lounge near the water. There is a separate area on the shoreline that allows for a nice gentle walk into the water and serves as a great spot to launch the pedal boat and kayaks. 5 Burner grill and 36in blackstone griddle can be found on the large wraparound water-facing deck that is perfect for outdoor entertaining. 16 Outdoor dining chairs can be found on the deck and 10 outdoor rocking chairs can be found steps from the lake.  Maplewood Lake House offers high speed internet and strong cellular service, keeping guests well connected. A dedicated work space with a stunning view of Sebasticook Lake can be found on the second floor.There are three 65in roku smart TV's, board games, card games and three separate living spaces for recharging after a day of lakeside adventures. The water level in Sebasticook Lake begins to drop beginning on September 15 for lake maintenance. Dock will be removed on 9/15 and put back in lake late May. Popular snowmobile and ATV destination, Moosehead Trail is just a few minutes down the road and is part of the Maine Interconnected Trail System. The Large driveway provides plenty of room to park snowmobiles, ATVs and recreational vehicles for all your off-roading adventures. Landscape lighting is programmed to come on at sunset and turns off 2 hours later.
