Come and enjoy our 3 bedroom 2 bath waterfront home on Lake Catherine. Boat, Fish, Kayak, Crab or just lay out on the sandy shore-front. There is something for everyone! Just 30 min from New Orleans French Quarter where you will fall in love with the food and culture! Enjoy the beautiful sunrises every morning on the huge back deck with tons of seating and in the evening enjoy the sunset on the other side of the home! Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.

The location was perfect for a getaway but close enough to New Orleans and other things to do. The house was clean and gorgeous. The kayaks were a great perk. Thank you for a great vacation rental.

Just perfect

We got to go into town when we felt like it. Beautiful waves crashing all night. Kids caught about 8 crabs so we had a crab boil. We will be back!

Weekend trip

Unfortunately we were unable to launch the boat due to high winds, but we had a great time catching crabs from the pier. The home was very comfortable and we enjoyed the back porch.

Absolutely Beautiful!

This is one of the most beautiful properties we have ever stayed at! Located directly on the water, there was almost always a nice breeze which made it comfortable to sit outside on the covered porch even when it was hot. We were able to spend time on the dock and really enjoyed just being at the property. On the days we decided to go into New Orleans, the drive was super easy and most of it had very little traffic. We really enjoyed how this property was located away from the hustle and bustle of a city. It was very nice that there was also a ramp to get up to the house, and we did not have to rely solely on taking the stairs. We would absolutely stay here again!

Was absolutely gorgeous

This place was fantastic. Being right on the water was so relaxing. We spent Mardi Gras weekend here. And it was really convenient how close to the city while also being far enough that We had a little get away from the chaos of the city. CJ is a really great host. The place Had everything we could have wanted and more. He's really easy to get a hold of and gave us some good food recommendation 10/10 Would absolutely stay here again.

Nice quiet relaxing stay!!

Having somewhere to retreat to after a long day of family celebrations was very nice the relaxed atmosphere was very welcoming and the boys enjoyed trying to fish and did catch a couple small crabs in the traps took the photo op and returned them for next time thanks again.

Great New Years Getaway with Family

Our stay was great at such a beautiful location on the lake. We loved the provided crab pots and fishing off the private pier. It was the perfect place to spend quality time with our adult children. The sunrises were breathtaking! It was close to the city yet peaceful. We will definitely be back!

Here To Fish

We feel Reel Lucky to have found this place to stay while we were in the area to do some charter boat fishing. The location is great. It’s a beautiful setting and peaceful. The house is very comfortable. The hosts provided even small amenities that made it easy to settle in.

Lake Catherine Family Get-A Way

Reel Lucky is a great family vacation. A perfect place to unwind, so peaceful. We crabbed and fish from the pier. We had a crab boil and fish fry. This home has everything you need. Looking forward to staying next year. Thank you CJ for being a great host and letting our family rent your beautiful place.

Best Lake House

Beautiful property with an amazing covered porch for beautiful view. Very comfortable and very well equipped for a great lake experience. Crabs traps and nets were a blast and we boiled several dozen crabs.

Family vacation

Very nice property on the lake. Was surprised with location on how easy it was to drive to downtown and slidell. Could not get an uber/lift but I think that might be because of time of year or time of the day. Our family had a fantastic time fishing and enjoying the dock. Very nice and would stay again.

Spring Break

Combined our Spring Break with a visit with our son who lives in NOLA. Loved this beautiful lakeside home! Well equipped, comfortable, lots of crabbing and fishing, convenient to NOLA and extraordinary views.
