Pretty & Cozy 3 bedroom home 3 blocks from the French Quarter in Treme.

This is a brand new home with all new furniture & finishes. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It is located less than 2 blocks from the French Quarter. It is centrally located in the city, so walk out your front door & see the city skyline and Louis Armstrong Park and be within minutes of anywhere in the city. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, coffee shops & galleries nearby and within a 5 minute walk. The house is brand new and finished & furnished with great attention to detail.

It is a very cozy, New Orleans inspired unit. Very colorful with soft finishes to make you feel at home. Itā€™s a contemporary version of a traditional New Orleans style camelback. It has exposed cypress beams hand cut from deep in the bayou. And offers lots of light. From the art, to the colors, to the architectural design, it was inspired by the historic neighborhood around.

The house as a whole home water filter with all the various filters on it. So the water coming from all the fixtures is clean, filtered water.

To use the AC: the house has split systems, meaning each room has itā€™s on AC unit. There are white remotes that work for all of the receiver heads. Just point the remote at the unit on the wall & adjust.

Once you have the remote: click the mode button (you will find this on the top left of the remote on the part under the cover) to the desired type of air (hot or cold). The little snowflake is cold and the sun icon is hot. Once you are on the correct mode, push the on button. The unit should turn on. And then adjust the temperature with the up & down arrows to what you want.

Friends trip

Unfortunately, it wasn't the best experience I have had with short term rental properties. The property itself is ok, small and quaint. Quiet neighborhood. It is about 20-30min walk to the Superdome and the Convention center. I had to reach out and ask for check in instructions. The property was not cleaned well. Old sticky note was still on the table. This property does not have an oven/stove FYI. I looked over that as it states a microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Iron, no ironing board. Bathroom shower leaks (need a new diverter). The host mentioned he needed to bring tissue by but did not. The ac was not working so he did have to come and fix that. It went out again while we were out one day, but we were able to get it back working. The ac is the wall mounted split units. There were 4 units, but one remote to control them so you have to go from room to room with the remote to adjust them. There was only one trash bag in the can. When I reached out to the host I never heard back so we had to purchase supplies, tissue, paper towels, trash bags, hand soap. At the end of the stay, we stripped all of the beds and found extremely dirty mattress covers/mattresses. The snoke detector was hanging from the bedroom ceiling and the light kept flickering. It definitely needs some TLC and better host communication.

Nola experience

This wad a wonderul home. The description is perfect. The home is extremely clean, well equipped, and perfectly decorated. We were very close to the French Quarter's, Louis Armstrong Park, and many other popular landmarks. We felt very safe walking around. The host was absolutely fantastic, very respo sive and helpful. I give this property a 10 star.

Lovely home!!!!

We stayed for my daughters college graduation. This place was perfect. I honestly cannot think of any negative things to say, besides I wish I could have stayed longer. Will definitely book again - 10 out of 10

Mid Week Jazz Fest Stay

Our stay was really great. The location was fantastic and within a 5-10 minute radius of everything we did on this trip. Our check in was a little muffled as the cleaner did not show up until 3:30 when weā€™re supposed to check in at 3. We were able to get in by 5:30 but really not an ideal situation. Then on the back end checkout was supposed to be 11 and the other group had already arrived and were trying to get in. I know that is not on the owner but they seemed to think they could get in early which was not the case. All in all we really liked the house but would suggest this to bachelors. The ā€œthird bedroomā€ is a walk through bedroom that you have to access to get to the two upstairs bedrooms so there really is no privacy for this room. There are three beds but would probably call this a 2 bedroom with 3 beds.

Enjoyed location

We really enjoyed the neighborhood we were in. We were able to walk to French Quarter- and did daily, got in a LOT of walking, but also enjoyed local neighborhood. The house was clean, and cute. We had a couple people in our party cancel, so we ended up with three people. I think if we had 5-6, the place would feel very small. Also, there is no stove in kitchenette, so we didnā€™t make any meals, which I often do to save money. However, there is too much good food in NOLA, so it worked out just fine. We had no reason to contact owner, everything went smoothly. I did contact prior to trip and received a prompt response. I would definitely recommend!

Great stay, location; communication with owner and amenities not great.

The owner permitted us to check in early, which was awesome. The place was quite clean and close to many great places and sites. The internet and TV did not work the entire time we were there and I reached out many times. Additionally, when I requested enough towels and wash clothes for each guest, the owner left one towel on the table. My husband used a sock for a washcloth! Overall the place was great with the exception of the two above mentioned issues.

Great Home and great location

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back. The home was close to everything we wanted to see. Home was in a safe location. I do wish additional paper towels and toilet paper were provided. Other than that it was great!

Cute little place.... noisy neighbors

When we arrived i had not yet recieved the door codes and called the property manager who promptly answered my call and sent the codes right over. This place was pretty cute and was pretty much what we expected, overall pretty clean although the couch was filthy and stained. The house was within walking distance of most anywhere we wanted to go which was perfect. Unfortunately we were woken up quite early in the mornings by loud neighbors yelling, fighting and slamming doors in the attached house behind the unit on two of the days we stayed here. Overall we liked the place but would like to set our own much quieter alarm clock in the future.

Great Location w/ a nice New Orleans vibe

The property was clean, spacious, and in a great location, exactly what I was looking for to experience the neighborhood feel of New Orleans beyond just the touristy spots. There were plenty of food options nearby, and I felt extremely comfortable and safe throughout my stay. I also admired the work put into the house, and the friendly neighbors added to the charm. Even on Super Bowl weekend, catching a rideshare was easy.However, communication with the owner was lacking. I didnā€™t receive check-in details until an hour before, at which point I was informed that housekeeping was running late and the house wouldnā€™t be ready until 5:30 PMā€”two and a half hours past the agreed check-in time. I completely understand that delays happen, but when you have plans and expect things to run on time, it can start a stay off on the wrong foot. A heads-up earlier in the day would have allowed me to adjust more smoothly. Unfortunately, after sending a few follow-up questions to the owner, I never received a response.Overall, the stay matched the listing description and offered a great New Orleans experience.

Overall the home was nice. The communication with the host was phenomenal. We arrived rather late and couldnā€™t figure out how to operate the heat in the home. I reached to the host around 12:30/1:00am and he responded with instructions. I was impressed on his response time! The only downside to the stay was the water pressure was low and I was mid shower when I had to wait about 10-15min for the water pressure to build up to finish my shower. Other than that, we were in close proximity to the French Quarters. We ubered and the rides were rather cheap considering the distance.

The property has the capability to be fantastic. if need a lot of work on the aesthetics. Dirty towels were left in the shower. sofa was absolutely filthy. Place needs an overhaul to bring out true character.

The close proximity to all the hotspots in NOLA was great, we could mostly walk to where we needed to go. However, there are small things that could be addressed in the house. There was no hand soap we could find, in either bathroom or the kitchen. The upstairs bathroom had mold or mildew streaks near the top of the wall over the vanityā€¦? There are also some random holes/dents around the walls, just made it seem a little bit neglected. The owner also did not reach out three days before with check in info, as is typical for VRBO owners. I had to reach out and got a response the night before we arrived. My friends and I all flew in from different cities, so the lack of initial communication had me worried about being able to get into the house.

We got to our location late(wee hours of the morning) and we was still waiting on host to send code to access the home. We didnt get it til the next day so we had to get an hotel for the night. Host did refund partial stay. The house was ok just has an old house smell, great location

Uncomfortably cold stay

The property itself was fine and reasonably fit our group of 6 adults. The main issues was it was usually cold the weekend we stayed in New Orleans and the AC/heaters didn't heat.

Pre-Wedding Family Weekend

We took our son and his soon to be bride on a small weekend getaway. She had never been to New Orleans. We absolutely loved this locations! So close to all the things we wanted to do. Ubers found us with no problem. We felt safe leaving our car on the street. The owner was always available and amazing. I will for sure come back and try to stay at this place again.

We enjoyed our stay here! It was a cute home for our size family. The beds were so comfortable! My young adult daughters really loved the style of the home. šŸ˜The check in process was a bit delayed but the owner was very apologetic and was quick to respond with any questions I had.
