"Check in was easy. The room was clean. The bed was okay, sloped towards the middle. The shower is very powerful and hard to adjust so just be forewarned. The fireplace wasn't operational while we were there but I didn't bother to check with the host since we were there for just one night. Cute house, great location, quiet. "We had a lovely time at the Floradora House! This adorable little house is in a prime location to enjoy downtown Glenwood Springs. Our room was very nice and the downstairs common room was cute and comfortable. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast out on the front porch. We specifically appreciated the provided towels for the hot springs because we forgot our beach towels. The neighborhood has free street parking and felt very safe. I would highly recommend the Floradora House for a fun weekend getaway...

"The house was as advertised...clean and comfortable. There were a couple of things that could have been better. We had trouble adjusting the thermostat to our needs. It was 70 degrees, which is a little warm for us at night. We tried to lower the temp, but it would not go below 70 degrees. We ended up using a fan and opening a window in the bedroom. "This is a great house. Plenty of room to spread out, nicely furnished, fully equipped kitchen, and some nice amenities. It is close to the road, so road noise outside is a factor but the interior is quiet because of good construction and insulation. The highlight of this property is the access to so many acres of private trails and fishing areas. We LOVED taking family walks multiple times a day. A truly special location, with good access to Aspen, Carbondale, and anything you could need."

The bedrooms are separated and very private, yet it was so convenient having all the rooms on one floor. The large deck is perfect for relaxing and for photos.
