Family Getaway

Great Golf Weekend
Great spot to stay with plenty of space inside and around the cabin. 12 guys were able to sleep comfortably. Great golf weekend!

Golf trip
The property was great for a buddies golf trip. The basement and backyard were great hangs. The house is on the smaller side for a big group, but it never felt cramped. Plenty of beds to sleep, and 3 bathrooms made it easy for everyone to have their space. Very convenient to golf courses.

Great property for family get-together
We chose this property as a location to get together with our adult children & grandchildren and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The basement was a nice area to hang out during the unexpected rain shower. There was plenty of room for everyone and even games/toys for the little ones too. It was fully equipped with everything needed. The owners pay close attention to every little detail!

Blast at the bunker
This rental was great for hosting our outing. The back yard was very nice with the putting green and the fire pit. Rec room downstairs provided a lot of entertainment with ping pong, pool, and shuffle board.

Fun place!
We had a wonderful stay at the Bunker over a long weekend. The place was clean and offered many amenities. We enjoyed the ping pong table, pool table, cornhole and the fire pit. Overall, great place for a group of 9 friends to stay. We also rented a pontoon boat on Lake Petenwell that was very close by.

Golf Weekend
House was fantastic. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy a peaceful weekend, this is the house for you. Between the basement and backyard there’s plenty for you to do without even leaving the house. Was told by the whole group that everyone loved the house and would love to go back.

Summer 2022 Golf Trip
The Bunker was perfect for our group of 8 friends on our summer golf trip. The house was in great condition and was in very close proximity to Sand Valley. The games in the basement (shuffleboard, ping pong and pool) and cornhole gave everyone something to do at night when we weren't playing golf. Overall we had a great trip and would certainly recommend staying at the Bunker.

Great rental property
We rented this property for our yearly friends get together. The home was accurately described in the photos. Nice kitchen with plenty of utensils and supplies, bedrooms were spacious, basement was a great addition with the bar and games. Outdoor seating was plentiful on the front porch as well as the back patio. Putting green was fun entertainment. Close to bar/restaurant Hoozels where we went for bingo Friday night. Gas station also close by and grocery store not too far. We were very happy with our stay!

Cousins weekend
We had a great experience at this property! It was stocked with everything we needed and had plenty of space for our group. It was a quick drive to the golf course and lake wich was very convenient!

Reunion/Bachelor Party
The Bunker was a fantastic place to stay, it has everything you need for long stay or a long weekend. Jeff was a great host and got back to us immediately about any questions or concerns we had. The area is also superb! Our group was a mixture of people from Los Angeles, people who used to live in Wisconsin, and people who still live in Wisconsin and everyone absolutely loved the area, whether it was the golf courses, the lakes, or the state parks it was great! We were mainly there for golf and we play a lot of nice courses in LA and Southern California and the courses here are second to none! Lake Arrowhead and Sand Valley are immaculate and The Bunker house fits the theme perfectly. If you’re looking for a golf trip I couldn’t recommend The Bunker more!! If not a golfer still plenty to do in the area or just stay at the house and play games or relax outside. Everyone in our party said they would be back.

Fantastic golf family weekend!
We had a fantastic family weekend staying at the Bunker. This property is ideal for 3 couples. Very nicely appointed / had everything we needed. Jeff and Meg are wonderful hosts. We’ll be back!

Love The Bunker!
We stayed here during a 3 day golf outing at Arrowhead. The location, and house were perfect for the 10 of us. Plenty of games to play both inside and out. Jeff and Meg were quick to respond to any questions I had prior to our stay. Would love to stay here again if you would have us. Thanks Doug Persch

Holidays visit
We had a great time in Wisconsin. The house is beautiful, clean and well equipped. We had fun playing ping-pong, and billiard . Meg and Jeff welcomed us with a tray of snacks and a bottle of champagne. That was awesome, we all enjoyed it! We had few dead and live ladybugs and other outdoor bugs in the upper bedroom. I guess they were looking for a warmer shelter. Overall we had a great time! Thank you!

Perfect Getaway

Relax and enjoy
Love this stylin’ cabin/ home. So many more amenities then they list! Soooo clean and comfortable. There’s little extras around every corner. They really make you feel special .Loved morning coffees on the front porch.. and fires every night. Cooking and eating together is always fun but there’s lots of fun local spots to check out. If you’re lucky you’ll meet the neighbors…. Turkeys with a brood of thirteen. The owners were great and respond quickly if you have any questions. PS.. we all fell on love with the Meyer’s cleaning products !

Perfect cabin to spend a weekend with family and friends
It was the perfect cabin to spend a rainy weekend with friends. We felt at home as soon as we arrived and the basket of welcome snacks was the perfect treat after many hours on the road. We were able to grill the first night and having the putting green was a lot of fun. The golf theme was a nice touch. The kitchen was fully stocked and labeled so we didn’t have to search through the cupboards/drawers to find things. There were enough k-cups to keep the adults, who were either chasing toddlers or staying up too late, happy. Plenty of board games and activities kept us all busy and entertained for four days. It seems like there was also a lot to do in the area, but our only outing was to the municipal zoo in Wisconsin Rapids (great for the under three crowd). The rain kept us inside, but the cabin was cozy and we had plenty of space. We would definitely recommend it to others and hope to return ourselves one day.

Beyond our expectations!!
I hardly know where to start so I’ll quote my family…”The Bunker is “the bomb” Perfect amount of space for our family of 6, beds were comfortable, kitchen was very well stocked, communication was excellent and between the outdoor space and the basement rec room our teenagers were never bored. All the little extras that Jeff and Meg have put into this home puts other places to shame!
