CIDER CABIN - Brown County's Finest Log Cabin

It's time for Rest & Relaxation or just some plain old Fun! Cider Cabin has it ALL and is available for couples/singles/families to come together and enjoy some time in this secluded 6acre, 2601sqft indoor living space and 3000sqft wrap around deck outdoor living space and screened-in porch. It has 3 bedrooms (sleeps up to 6 people extremely comfortably), 2.5 baths, full granite kitchen, fire pit, grill and Hot Tub for you and your guests every pleasure! Located just off of I-65 about an hour south of Indianapolis and an hour north of Louisville, Cider Cabin is your perfect, convenient and secluded rendezvous! So whether you are looking to have a family reunion, bachelor/bachelorette party or simply get away, CIDER CABIN is the place to be!!

There is NO WiFi available at the Cabin, however Cell Service/Hot Spots work very well with most services. The TV does NOT have cable, but you can connect the new FireTV to your cell phones hotspot and get most anything youā€™d like on the installed apps.

Downtown Nashville with its 250 shops, restaurants and entertainment (5min), Brown County Winery (2min), Bear Wallow Distillery (2min), Brown County State Park (Indiana's Largest) (3min), Lake Monroe (Indiana's Largest) (30min) are just minutes away.

Other Local amenities includes Golf Courses, Zip Lining, Bike Riding, Hiking, ATV Trails, Horseback Riding, Playhouse, concerts... and so much more!

We enjoyed the peaceful cabin stay. It was convenient for our small bachelorette group to get into town for our activities and then come back and relax. The comfy living room was great for our game night. The only thing we wished was that there were doors or curtains on the upstairs bathrooms but overall it was perfect.

Summer get away

Ourstay was overall amazing. The house was perfect the property it sits on secluded quiet and beautiful. I would recommend this property to just about anyone. I just loved the absence of chaos. Nashville the little town had so much to offer. Plenty of entertainment amazing food and beautiful atmosphere.

I would not stay again. Watching tv was limited even using mobile hot spot. Really needs totally deep cleaned and updated especially for the price paid. Very dark and dreary inside. Looked like evidence of mouse droppings in bottom of stove.

Perfect Reading Retreat

We were looking for a nice quiet place to read and relax! We loved that it was close enough to town that we were able to get some shopping in. There wasnā€™t a single thing we were missing when we cooked a meal at the cabin. The hot tub was primed and ready to go when we got there. Plenty of wild life so it wasnā€™t eerily quiet. Plenty of space and bathrooms!

Great stay!

We decided to stay here over a weekend to spend quality family time together. It was the perfect place for this! We had a great stay and the cabin is beautiful! The hot tub didnā€™t work but the owner informed me of this immediately and gave me options incase that was a dealbreaker.

Weekend trip for concerts

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was really nice and well decorated. The appliances were top notch. The only drawback (though it didn't really affect our stay) was no door on a bathroom off of one of the bedrooms and Bottom floor bedroom had no door.

Great getaway in the woods

Great house and very nice property. Manager was easy to contact and very responsive. Make sure you use the manager's instructions for finding the place, it's a bit tricky, especially in the dark. No door on first floor bedroom and second floor bathrooms, so just be aware of that for your group. A great stay, and would stay again!

Girls Getaway! 2024

We loved the cabin, the location, the scenery and the peacefulness. It is kind of odd that the bedroom downstairs does not have any kind of a door, but it is quite manageable. It is also odd that the bathrooms upstairs do not have doors, but you can get creative and make it work. The hot tub was very relaxing on a cool fall evening after spending all day shopping in downtown Nashville communication was fairly decent With the owners. Sometimes responses were a little late and not relevant when they came through overall wonderful place and would recommend we had four adult women for a girls weekend away and we were extremely satisfied with our trip.

A hot stay in Nashville

.We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. .We appreciated having the air conditioning as temps were in the 90ā€™s during our stay. .Laundry was left in the washer/dryer upon arrival. .We did not use the hot tub as the head rest was mildewed as well as some other parts. .It would have been nice to have a door on the downstairs bedroom and on the upstairs small bedroom bathroom. .It would have been helpful to have grab bars in the master bathroom. .Not all the windows have curtains and in unfamiliar surroundings it would have been nice to be able to close them at night. There was debris under the living room couch.

Big and Clean Retreat

Beautiful Log Cabin easy to get too and far enough off the road to enjoy the serenity. The Hosts are very accommodating and mindful. Beautiful rooms. Modern appliances! Good plumbing! Huge massive wrap around deck and porch. Stay here, you will not regret it.

Great Stay!

We used Cider Cabin as our home for a girlsā€™ trip. Overall was very satisfied with the stay. It was cleaned very well, and had lots of space and seating. The decks were just great for porch-sitting. We should have read the reviews about there being no doors on the bathrooms, that made things a bit awkward. But a family might not mind a little less privacy. We did have the oven break before we made a dinner, but the host sent someone within a few hours. It was fixed as soon as he could get a technician there. It was a nice place to crash after hiking in the state park and wandering around Nashville.

We love staying here!

This is our second time staying at the Cider Cabin. It has everything we need. Our family loves the fire pit and the hot tub. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty to go around. This is one of the best stocked VRBO's I have stayed at!
