We do offer a cold continental breakfast, which consists of a OJ/Apple Juice, Coffee, Tea, Milk, Hot Chocolate, as well as a variety of yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, fresh fruit, 4 types of bagels, white and wheat toast. There are a couple of unmarked train crossings near the hotel, because of this for safety they do blow the horns, sometimes a little more then needed. We do hope you will come back and see us again the next time you are in Nappanee.

Directly to the east of us is still farm land, and across the street is a pasture. Unfortunately we have no control over the trains and their horns, but they do blow the horns for safety at the crossing across the street. I'm sorry no one was at the desk when you checked out, they were probably assisting another guest. There is a sign in the center of the desk with a phone number and buzzer, as well as a drop box for the room keys. We hope to see you again the next time you are in Nappanee.

I do wish you would have brought these issues to our attention during your stay so we could have addressed them. We did have a problem with the pump on the pool, which is why it was closed and turned green on us. As soon as the pump was replace, the water was correct, and the pool has been opened up. As for the picture that had been taken off the wall, it had been damaged by a previous guest. Instead of taking a chance of someone else being injured by the broken glass, it had been removed. I've gone back through our maintenance notes and have nothing about a dog being sick in the stairwell. I can assure you, had it been brought to our attention we would have cleaned it up immediately. Again we are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay on this trip. We are in the process of many updates here at the hotel. We do hope you will come back and give us another try and to see the updates.
