"We had a great stay at the Happy as a clam cottages. The cottage was very nice and clean. Being able to eat a few meals in using the full kitchen, BBQ was a plus. The location was perfect for our interests (it is very close to 2 very fine oyster farms/restaurants, several state parks, and a short drive to both the bay and oceanside of the peninsula. We would highly recommend."

"My wife and our two boys and our dog had a wonderful stay Nicole was very quick to respond to any questions we had and it was a beautiful stay with the ocean in just a short walk and the house had everything we needed even for our dog! I would definitely Recommend staying!"

"This was a very nice property. The view was spectacular the house is well kept well organized and well stocked. The trail riding we came down to do was 3 blocks away and there was a really nice path out back that went right down to the beach. "

"We were on a family trip with three children. We stayed in the serendipity cottage. The children really appreciated the games that were available. The entire cottage was beautifully decorated very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils and gadgets you need. Two bathrooms is a lifesaver with a family! "Stayed July 3–5, 2025 with my wife via VRBOWe had a fantastic stay at Bolstad West for the holiday weekend. The location truly can’t be beat—steps from the beach, right by the boardwalk, and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Long Beach. "Amazing location in the heart of Long Beach. Everything you need is within walking distance. Checking in was super simple and easy. Right when you walk in you get a cozy feeling. All of the amenities provided right down to the toothbrushes in to the bathroom were amazing. There were a couple minor mentions to the owner, who responded very quickly. "The house was AMAZING. The downstairs looked like it had been professionally interior decorated. The host was our neighbor and came to greet when we arrived. The location was perfect for us. And had lots of things included for their guests, comfortable beds, lots of books, games and lots stuff for us to use. The only problem was our truck was too big for the garage and the parking space was filled by our truck so not anybody’s fault but our own"

"Super cute LittleCottage right in town and close to the beach. Might want to put some lavender scent in there or something though just because it had a slightly odd smell. Probably a normal must smell as it is a historic building. We loved our stay and was the perfect little kitchen to cook in with everything you could possibly want. "
