Stay in the Old Beach Style Flat Top House! Quick walk to the ocean!

We have had a lot of fun with our properties and our restaurant being so close. Thanks for your time. Text or call me if you wish to chat about renting to make sure its right for you.

This 2 bedroom and 1 bath is Flat top Cottage has a classic beach box look with modern amenities and comfortable furnishings. We are super excited with this property due to the Nags Head location, the extra room in the front of the living room and the walk in shower. The cottage is located at mile post 16 with 10 restaurants with in 2 miles, putt putt, go carts, water sports and a Nags Head golf Links close by also. There is The Nags Head Outlet mall across the street with Eddie Bower, Coach, Polo and a bunch more.
The location in Nags Head makes it easy to go anywhere on the beach, north to Jockey's Ridge, largest sand dune on the east coast, or south to Hatteras to see the Cape Hatteras Light House. There are two beach access close enough you don' t need to drive. By close they are 50 yards on each side. The one to the north does have an out door shower and foot wash, but there is also a water hose on the north side of the house. The town of Manteo is 10 min away and worth a trip downtown with more shops, restaurants, and a brewery and distillery. A walk on the the waterfront dock is always relaxing.
A quick note about this property.

We also have a duplex the Southwester, # 1067106 and the other side Noreaster, # 907506.

We have had more fun checking guests in personally and telling them about our Outer Banks than you know and can't wait for future guests to come enjoy any one of our places. Mom made them super cute and beach themed. If you wanted to go on vacation with some other families but like your space also, we have the spot for you and our family restaurant , the Dunes is right behind you for breakfast, dinner, carry out and a full bar with no driving required. Our places are safe and secure with storage for beach gear.
In the event of a hurricane or threat of one and you need to cancel. Not a problem! We give a full refund. We do not wish to profit from a storm and we will hope you can rebook at a future date and pick us and Nags Head year after year.

There is WiFi and a smart TV. The out front room is a cute place to take a nap under the ceiling fan on the plush couch, or finish up the book you started earlier on the beach. and a place mom and dad could catch up while the kids watch a movie.
If you were able to see the bathroom and how small it was you would know why this shower is a great addition to the cottage.

Cozie, Homey and close to the Beach. We save up for an annual beach break and this spot felt like a home away from home. Close enough to walk and carry a few things to the beach access. My daughter had a ball playing in the water and the sand. And you have a host that cares that you’re comfortable during your stay. Thank You Patrick. And look forward to booking for next summer!

Great location! Easy access to the beach, national parks and shopping. The house was a comfortable place to hang out as we lingered over morning coffee, did a jigsaw puzzle on a rainy day and talked late into the night. Comfy beds and cute decor.

We had a wonderful stay in this very nice beach cottage. It was convenient to restaurants and other attractions. It was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely like to stay here again. Having no steps is a plus for older people.

My best friend and I stayed here. It's everything you need and nothing you don't. Great service too! I texted Patrick for a couple things and he came straight over. Nice fella too! The location is close to the pier and everything else you need. We will be back next year.

The Flat Top cottage was the perfect place for our week long vacation to the OBX. The living room furniture was comfortable and the king bed was amazing. I rarely sleep well the first couple of nights away from home, but I slept great from the first night to the last. The location of the cottage was great for our trips to Manteo, Hatteras, and Kill Devil Hills. The beach was a short walk with two public access points equal distance from the cottage. On our last night, we had dinner at the Dunes Restaurant, which we highly recommend. The food and service was exceptional! Plus, the restaurant is located behind the cottage - an easy walk.

This cottage is adorable, incredibly clean, spacious for it's size and a quick walk to the beach. It was everything we wanted and more! We absolutely love the the cleanliness of the place and the continuous communication and care from the owners. We hope to be back again soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Patrick's cottage in Nags Head, it was perfect for my family of 3! Patrick communicated very well, and was a gracious host. We would love to stay again in the future.

The impression of the property was very sketchy at first. But, when we walked in... very beachy. The bathroom was a bit small, but we delt with it. The water pressure in the shower was like getting spinkled on. And the beds where extremely uncomfy. None of us slept well. If you require coffee. I suggest that you bring your own coffee pot. The walk to the beach was very short. Its right accross the street. I recomend bringing a wagon of sorts. The one thing that bothered me a bit... is there was people hanging out at the back of the property looking directly at our back door. So, everytime i went outside... i had soneone watching me/us. I do believe that the person next door did live there. And one of the days we were there, my husband went outside and the young ladies who were at the house next door hid their beers from our view??? Don't know y?? And we also witnessed a high speed chase involving someone pulling into the driveway that we shared. The gentleman got out of his car. Then pretended to talk on his cell phone as if he had been there a while. Not really sure if we will come back to this location. But, overall we did enjoy the beach alot. And all of the friendly people that we incountered along the way. I wish everyone in this world was as welcoming and as nice as the people in Nags Head.

Staying here was a pleasure the house was inviting and had everything that we needed. The house was clean and tidy! The decor was really great. Beds were comfortable and the furniture was nice and comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

This was exactly what I was looking for! My sister and I were looking for a quick get away for a couple of days and this old style flat roof cottage fit the bill perfectly. It was clean and cute and had all the amenities you could need for a beach get away. The property owners had great communication with me and the check in and check out process was easy. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

We had the best time at the flat top cottage, exactly as described, check in was easy and cottage had everything we needed for our weekend away! Beach access was close and convenient and we spent every minute we could flying kites and looking for shells! Close to everything, restaurants, mini golf, stores. For our family of 3, it was a perfect size! Loved the sun room at nights for board games and the beds were super firm and comfortable! Highly recommend and would 100% stay again! Very clean, everything was decorated nice, and it had everything we needed. Did lots of relaxing and found lots of shells! We didn't turn on the TV once during our stay, we were having so much fun spending time together. Thank you for letting us visit!

Nice older cottage, that was very clean! Location was great, right across the road from the beach and close to Jeanette’s pier. Several great places to eat within a very short walking distance which was good for use. You cannot see the beach but you can see the dunes when you walk around to the side of the house. For the price and the location I would definitely stay again!

The size of the house suited the three of us. Be prepared for a very musty smell. Floor was oddly and extremely slippery. Nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable, not the pillows. Good communication with host.

Location, size, character, everything about this rental was perfect for us. 2 nice size room. Great shared living spaces. Easy parking. Walk to the beach. Truly a great experience. I already miss our daily walks on the beach and my mom's snoring;)

We planned a trip at the last minute and felt lucky that we found a place to stay - but it turned out to be way more than just lucky. The house was perfect for our stay, we loved the layout and feel - and the AC was cold in every room! We'll plan to be back when it is a bit cooler so we can enjoy the sweet front porch room!

The house was nicer than the photos. Very clean. The host was responsive to our needs. Only down side was no washer and drier on site but there are laundry mats within a short drive. Otherwise they have most necessities you would need in a house. Very happy with our stay. Would stay there again.

Not only is this place adorable, conveniently located, and super affordable for two people, we even managed to have a blast in the rain for 4 days. Patrick was there in minutes when we needed him (the door keypad batteries died - could happen to anyone!), and suggested great beach and dining spots while we had him (and accurately so since we were already very familiar with the area!). Just across the street from beach access, a 15 minute drive from the nearest lighthouse and my favorite beach, Coquina, and just over the bridge from Manteo to see The Lost Colony. We will definitely stay here again!
