The vacation rental was very dirty.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

The house was beautiful and the location was second to none. Sitting on the deck or at the kitchen island, you see dolphins in the ocean. At one point two jumped out of the ocean as if they were offering a show. I loved all of the doors to the back deck which extended to the beach. The beach access was excellent. We enjoyed the beach at sunrise and sunset and were entertained by the ghost crabs when the beach went dark. Cleanliness? - I would give this house a four out of 10. Upon entering the home, I immediately needed to call the realtor to report some issues. The countertop was sticky, there were flies in the window in the basement. The baseboards had clearly not been cleaned all season. The grill was the most disappointing. Vines were growing into the grill and under the hood flies flew out and we found a filthy rack. I understand that condensation and mold may be an issue with homes on the ocean but these issues must be rectified before renting. In addition, we found two faucets were broken. The maintenance gentleman arrived in a timely manner, repaired the broken fixtures, and took away the grill for a deep cleaning.
