I am beyond frustrated with our stay at Summer’s End, managed by Village Realty. What was supposed to be a family vacation turned into a series of safety hazards and mechanical failures that the management completely ignored. Safety and Appliance FailuresOur first night was a nightmare. The refrigerator didn't just stop working; it nearly caught on fire.When we reported this, the "solution" was to bring a tiny mini-fridge to replace a full-sized unit. When they finally did bring a replacement full-sized fridge, it was filthy and missing handles. Maintenance NeglectThe issues didn't stop in the kitchen: Water Pressure: There was zero water pressure in the upstairs bathroom. Electrical Issues:The ceiling fan in one room didn't work at all, and the fan/light combo in our master bedroom stopped working midway through the stay. We were told an electrician was needed, but no one ever arrived. Property Hazard: The room my two daughters stayed in had prickle briars left in the bed room carpet My daughters were stabbed in the feet by them, and I had to physically remove thorns from their skin. Unprofessional ManagementThe most insulting part was the lack of service. When the maintenance worker came for the fridge, he actually told us he would wait to have the water fixed "due to tensions”because we we were rightfully frustrated with the lack of working appliances.I requested the proper Manager multiple times. Every single request was ignored. There was no attempt at a resolution
