The most pleasant part of this stay was the check in process bc it was quick and simple ..The condo cleanliness was absolutely crap, there was sand and dust on every surface outside of the kitchen, the floors made our feet/socks black as hell, and the bathroom shower curtain had mold on it...for the price that we paid we expected it to meet basic cleanliness standards. The light in the kitchen also never fully came on just flickered & we had to screw two of the legs back into the dining room chairs bc they were really loose. THE ABSOLUTE WORST PART: All the surfaces have a layer of glass on them with only one rubber bumper in each corner. .the glass on the living room table slid off bc it wasn't properly secured and our 1 YR OLD was under the table when it happened...we spent two hours just sweeping/Vacuuming/mopping up the glass to ensure no one would get a shard in their foot.

Myrtle Beach Vacay

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The pictures are pretty accurate and the condo overall was in good shape. There was some damage that we reported and the property manager was very responsive. It seems like the unit was in good shape but seems like it's seen some significant wear on the entry door/lock. The building was ok, but lacked some extras of ones nearby. The price was fair and if we were to return to the area, this place would certainly be considered.

The condo was in pretty good condition, seemed clean when we walked in. The hall bathroom was not there was actually black hair on the walls of the tub and used soap in the shower, we only used the toilet in that bathroom. The beds were ok not very comfortable and there was sand in the main bedrooms sheets that we had to shake out, we arrived at 11:30pm so it wasn't from us.Overall the location was right on the beach, we were moving my daughter back into school so we used it to re group between move in.

Place and beach so beautiful…pot and pan not clean, staying 4 days but only1 trash bag . Shampoo , conditioner enough for 1 day for 2 people . Floors are not clean very sticky. Please, make sure cleaning staff do their jobs better

All balconies were closed due to an inspection. Locked from the inside. Was never notified in anyway during or after the booking that balconies would not be available, this is one of the main reasons I chose this location to stay.

False advertising

Day one of check-in the beds were not put together meaning the rail underneath of it was hanging over about 8 inch. If I could load a picture I would on day two the balconies were closed down in the entire resort By the city, not safe to take children. if I could load a picture of those memos, I would. . Beaches are beautiful and a good location.. however the balcony closing and maintenance coming in the room to put chains on the doors because of safety issues was enough for me. I’ll never go back.. don’t spend your money here .

Great location and condo

Great condo and view. Kitchen only had very basic cookware and dishes and no hot water to the kitchen sink so had to run the dishwasher more than we liked. Linens were stiff and scratchy but king bed very comfortable. Excellent balcony and nice furnishings.

C’est notre 3e année consécutive avec Luxury rentals à Carolina Dunes. La communication avec l’hôte est toujours rapide, courtoise et impeccable. La localisation est merveilleuse, prêt de tous les attractions populaires en seulement quelques minutes de voiture. La vue est exceptionnelle du balcon, le condo est facile d’accès et spacieux! Mention spéciale à L’homme qui fait l’entretien des espaces communs (couloirs, piscine, entrée du building, toilettes communes de la piscine) travaille toujours très fort pour que ce soit très propre tous les jours et était très gentil et toujours présent! Les seuls points négatifs à notre avis seraient que les douches ont un grand besoin d’être rafraîchis. Elles sont vieilles et ont de la moisissure, celle de la chambre des maîtres est beaucoup trop basse. Le divan-lit est très inconfortable (autant en divan qu’en lit). Il manque également quelques articles de cuisine, pas beaucoup d’assiettes, de verres/tasses et seulement 3 coupes de vin qui étaient vieilles et égratignées. L’insonorisation est ordinaire, les chaises du penthouse au dessus de nous faisaient un vacarme incroyable jusqu’à très tard le soir chaque fois qu’elles étaient tirées. Ce serait bien de leur mettre des coussinets pour tranquilliser les voisins d’en dessous. Toutefois, nous avons tout de même adoré notre séjour et nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Great location

This is our 2nd time staying.We loved it so much,we wanted to come back.I was excited to get the text that our unit was ready to check in several hours prior to 4pm but when I brought some luggage/bags up to the door,the door code did not work.I called and texted but got no answer.I just got lucky that a guy dropping off parking pass envelopes happened to walk by me and got me in with his own code.He then proceeded to call several people to try and get me help.It took over an hour and a half for maintenance to arrive.In the meantime,while waiting,I found some cleaning wipes and decided to start wiping down the counters in the kitchen.I was glad I did because they were filthy.On our 2nd to last beach day,I awoke early to find that our power was out.I was startled because that meant our baby monitor was dead because there is no battery.We notified management again and they said it was affecting several units in the building.They did update us that the power should be back by 11:30am but when it wasn't after 12:30pm we were really at an inconvenience.2 small children and a beach cart with all of our things to take to the beach...on the 6th floor...with no elevator.It was not ideal.Management ultimately offered a small refund which did make me happy that we were at least getting something back.Overall though,we really enjoy the Carolina Dunes location.The unit was nice. Master shower head,abnormally low though. Loved being beachfront,pool,outdoor bathroom,close to Gauchos, etc:)

Nice location and close to all things a person could use.

Property was nice, however disappointed that the pool and hot tub was not available to use. It would not deter me from coming again. Loved the oceanfront condo.

Awesome Vacation

We had a wonderful week at this property. There is an issue with the master bath. The toilet needs repaired. It won't stop running unless you turn the water on and off when you flush. We called and the maintenance person didn't fix it. Also the sink needs cleared in there. The water sits in the sink and very slowly goes down. Other than those issues, which are easy fixed, the place was great!

Buyer Beware

This property is in desperate need of an update!!! We walked on wet towel’s every day we were there. The air conditioner leaked water in the second bedroom floor for two days. The washing machine leaked water in the floor- after washing one load of towels. I called the property managers two separate days. Repairs were made to the air conditioner the next day. Issue’s with the washing machine weren’t addressed at all. Bedding was uncomfortable to say the least. Would I rent at Carolina Dunes 6th floor condo 605 again??? No!!!!

Loved staying at the Carolina Dunes

We celebrated my daughter’s 7th birthday. She enjoyed the condo and said that the decor was nice! I liked how the condo was well stocked, secure, and in a great location. We will be staying again, for sure.
