Upon checking in and getting parked there were several working girls in the parking lot next door and what appeared to be someone shooting up some form of drug. It was behind a older hotel building next door and not on the property but still a little close for comfort considering my kids were there for the weekend as well. Mb and horry county law enforcement should step it up. The condo itself was not cleaned great between stays and the couch and blankets had several stains and hairs in the bed. So i did attempt to call the property manager back on the number he had called me from prior to check in. But no amswer and he had mentioned they were leaving for the day and gave me instructions to retrieve key from a lock box. So since it was already later in the evening and no answer i went to walmart purchased new sheets and blankets and pillows. Got back and remade the bed with clean linens. Pulled the couch bed to find the mattress to pullout bed in terrible shape and not something id expect a pet much less my child to sleep on. So i ended up putting sheets across the stained up couch cushions and slept there myself letting the kids have the bed. The condo is in desperate need of remodeling. The shower and tub spigot was rusty and crumbly the ac vents dripped bonstop which prob explains the musty smell the condo had. Luckly we planned to do nothing but sleep and ahower there as we had several things planned during the day while visiting. The palace is great but not this condo.
