Come stay and visit the Avenue of the Giants,and see the redwoods! 5 acres fully fenced with automatic gate. King size Tempur-pedic mattress and two bathrooms. One with a walk-in shower and one with a bath/ tub comboā€¦.Close to the highway but very private....it is located between the towns of Miranda and Myers flat . No neighbors within eyesight.Enjoy a nice barbecue out on the deck next to the redwoods and beautiful flower garden or cook insideā€¦. The Avenue Cafe is just a couple miles down the road alsoā€¦.. House is equipped with a full kitchen with everything you would need to make a fabulous meal.ā€¦. just like your own home.

Loved it

The property is exactly as advertised on the listing. Itā€™s very secluded and quiet. It was the perfect place to spend a quiet relaxing weekend with my wife. The redwoods are a 10 minute drive away and we got some great hiking in. There is a town close by but itā€™s tiny and doesnā€™t have much for services do pack appropriately. The owner is very nice and responsive to messages. I wouldnā€™t hesitate to stay here again.

At home in the Redwoods

This house is beautiful. Perfect setting. We really enjoyed the private setting. Didn't mind the 10-15 minute drive to Mirada(nearest restaurants/gas station). Perfect location for the Avenue of the Giants. The house is immaculate. Great sitting areas both inside and out. Security fence with private gate. Would absolutely stay here again.

The house and host are amazing. The house is so comfortable, we instantly felt at home and relaxed. The host sandy was very welcoming and available. The yard is very well maintained and landscaped. The area is exactly what we wanted. 2 min drive to the ave of the giants. The town itself is amazing. The most friendly people we have encountered on your travels across country. A must stop. Oh and the price for the house is more than reasonable. We will definitely be coming back.

The home, location and host were amazing. The home is beautiful and comfortable and the setting is wonderful. We had everthing we needed for our time near the Avenue of the Giants. Great spot

Nice, well equipped place to spend a few nights if you want to hike Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Comfy and clean. Super organized kitchen with lots of good pots and pans and dishes and cups beyond what you usually see in a short term rental. Nice shower. Beautiful outdoor deck areas although you do hear 101 traffic when outside ( not inside so much). Would stay here again! Although the whole area here (not just Miranda where the house is) doesnā€™t have much in the way of services, it was great that the small town of Miranda nearby had two good restaurant options and gas.

Beautiful spot

This lovely house is in a beautiful spot overlooking the highway and the Eel River valley, and very conveniently located to explore the Humboldt Redwoods. Lovely outdoor spaces as well, although the mosquitoes were out while we were there. A couple of the directions for using the home could've been more clear, but Sandee was very quick to communicate and clear things up for us.

Cozy Spot Perfect Location!

We just loved this place! Nestled about equal distance between Miranda and Myers Flats, and right in the middle of Avenue of the Giants. Quaint eateries in both towns, including a supermarket. The home has lots of space to relax and cook both inside and out, including a Weber grill. And the bed was a perfect firmness. Sandee was extremely responsive any time we had questions. Thank you for sharing a wonderful space with us! We will be back.

Perfect , visiting redwoods, to the beach

right off 101 / Ave. of the Giants, (redwoods), easy commute to small towns, hiking, fishing and Shelter cove (black beach too). Home and grounds were lovely and well appointed. Owner was a joy to work with. Would / will stay here again.
