Welcome to Perfect View Hideaway, a luxury, chalet-style vacation cabin with hot tub, pool table, and expansive decking overlooking endless views.

With a full bedroom and bathroom on all 3 floors, this cabin sleeps 8 comfortably. High-speed Starlink wifi, updated dƩcor, wood firepit, a wood-fired pizza oven, and a lovely outdoor dining space all add to the charm and amenities of this log-sided home.
Perfect View Hideaway offers great views with 1200 square feet of covered and uncovered decks.

This cabin has upscale furnishings and charm throughout. Perfect View Hideaway has 2 full living/great rooms, both with gas fireplaces. It is pet friendly, too. Limit 2 dogs not more than 50 lbs.

Wake up to stunning mountain sunrises in the huge master level loft, which has a king-sized bed, excellent orthopedic mattress, sitting area, full ensuite bathroom with dual sinks, and sweeping mountain views. Watch the magical fog rise up from nearby Lake Persimmon ā€“ the very thing that earned the Great Smoky Mountains their name.

Main floor provides excellent living space with fully equipped cookā€™s kitchen, living room, dining room, and gas fireplace. There is also a very comfortable queen bedroom and another full bathroom on this floor. Step outside to a wide, open-air deck with plenty of seating and a cozy gas firepit overlooking the beautiful mountain views.

Property sits adjacent to National Forest Service land for privacy. Just a few steps away on the side of the wraparound deck, lies the fantastic outdoor dining area. It has a gas grill, a wood-fired pizza oven, seating for 6, and wonderful views of the forest, mountains and wildlife.

The bottom floor terrace is where all the fun happens!! Play pool and sit at the well-equipped bar or enjoy the popcorn station and watch a movie. (We provide popcorn kernels and lots of DVDs for you.) There is another gas fireplace in the downstairs living area, or go outdoors and roast some marshmallows over the open wood fire pit for sā€™mores. There's even a s'mores station with grahams, marshmallows and chocolates.

There is another queen bedroom and full bathroom on this floor as well as a queen sleeper sofa. When the kids go to bed after a day of adventures, you can pour yourself a glass of wine and slip into the hot tub on the outdoor deck.

Unlike many mountain-view homes, the road to get to Perfect View Hideaway is
accessible and well maintained. Even a sedan can access the home, however, reach out if bringing a trailer.

Located in Murphy, NC, this mountain getaway is only a half hour north of Blue Ridge, GA, and close to hiking, biking, waterfalls, tubing, boating, white water rafting, ziplining, horseback riding, boating, gem mining, vineyards, an alpaca farm, fishing and more. Drive into town, and you will find lots of quaint antique stores, tasty mom-and-pop and boutique restaurants, a couple awesome breweries, and authentic Carolina BBQ. There are also bigger stores including a super Wal-Mart, Ingles, and Harrahā€™s Casino which has an arcade, bowling alley, restaurants, and golfing.

There are a few hiking paths around the property and yoga mats to limber up with.
Or, you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the moonlight and mountain air.
This incredible cabin is our second home, and truly our happy place, and we hope you love it the way we do!!

Our 4th of July Getaway

Our stay was wonderful!!! The cabin was very clean, well decorated and sticked with things we might need. My best part was the area around the kitchen and livingroom. No TV or radio, so there was no distraction........ family stayed in that area and played cards, laughed and ate.Had a great time playing 8 & 9 ball down stairs also. Great place for great memories and will definitely go back

2025 Spring Break - MI and MASS to NC

We had an amazing stay. Directions and communication from the Matt and Dana were perfect and the house was just as it looked in the pictures, the view morning, afternoon and evening was stunning. Pictures don't do the view justice. The amenities like the Hot Cocoa bar, Smore's bar, hot tub and pool table were perfect. If we are ever back in the same part of the state, I'd opt to stay again. :)

Great Place!

This was a great house/cabin with everything you could possibly need. Quiet neighborhood a bit outside of town. Made us feel like we were really on vacation but close enough to run in to Murphy if we wanted. Great downtown also! Would stay again!

Peaceful Retreat

This property has stunning views and includes all the little extras to make you feel right at home. We were amazed at the cleanliness and the attention given to guestsā€™ needs. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated for the season. The large decks allowed our family to gather and enjoy the beautiful mountains. We loved sitting around the gas patio table. The hosts were extremely responsive to our questions and provided great trip suggestions. Our family would be happy to stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Exactly what we wanted, middle of no where, place to relax and enjoy family time. Loved the pool table and corn hole and of course the view. Only small suggestions i have would be warn people there is no filtered water for drinking. and maybe leave instructions on how to use the indoor fireplaces. Access to property review

The property/house itself was nice! The access to the property is one way in and one way out down 1.5 miles of large black gravel mixed with NC clay before arriving to the house. The driveway is so steep you need an all wheel drive vehicle or 4x4. No trailers over the size of 10-12 ft will be able to reach the property. Barely any room to turn a car around let alone a truck at top of the hill by house. Not motorcycle friendly at all unless you have a enduro style motorcycle! Beautiful house and scenery just with limited access!

Beautiful cabin in Murphy, NC. The views were amazing, the cabin had wonderful amenities including a popcorn and sā€™mores bar area, a pool table, hot tub and fire circle. The kitchen was very well stocked in regards to pots and pans and the beds were extremely comfortable. We had a wonderful time!

Beautiful, peaceful, secluded, luxury cabin

This cabin has 3 floors and everything you need to enjoy your time away from the hussle and bussle of life. Whether you want to enjoy a bonfire or the hot tub, a game of pool, or a movie- grab some pop corn from the pop corn bar or make some smores using stuff from the smore bar or play a game of pool or cook a beautiful meal. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms makes for plenty of space plus a pull out couch and full size cot. It does get chilly downstairs and warm up stairs but that can be adjusted with fans or blankets. The outdoor firepit is a little rusted because of exposure to the weather but those are little things in comparison to the beauty and peace you can experience here. We will be back and we loved our stay and the owners were very nice and responsive!

A Great Cabin - Can't Wait to Stay Again!

This was a great place to stay for a romantic weekend, but I'm sure families would enjoy it just as much. Everything was as described in the listing, so check that out - great views, plenty of cooking areas, a comfortable hot tub, fire places, and a well-stocked kitchen. Me, I'm hoping to come back when it is decorated for Christmas, as it already looks halfway like a Christmas Cabin in a Hallmark movie - I can't wait to see it when fully in Christmas mode!

Great honeymoon!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We had a wonderful experience. The place was represented well online and was very clean compared to other rentals. The host was responsive and accomodating. Check in was a breeze. This was the perfect spot for us and we plan on visiting again with the rest of the family.

Lovely view and amenities

The home is very homey and has absolutely gorgeous furnishings and decor. It was decorated for fall and am sure it will be for all holidays. There is a lovely view from the main floor and from the back deck where there is a small fireplace. There are lovely gas fireplaces on lower and main level. The only disappointing problem we encountered was that the propane tank was dead empty after 9 days of our 14-day stay so by the time our family arrived for the second weekend we had no use of either of them for their whole stay. We contacted the owner on Friday but he said he was unsure propane people would come on weekend. Said he would send his handyman to start it who did not come till Monday night ( immediately confirmed empty) and our family was gone and we had to leave the next AM. The owners were concerned about our comfort but our favorite part was the lovely fireplaces we could not use. We knew the tank was empty. The weather was warm when we were there so we used the outdoor deck a lot as well as the grill and outside dining table. We did not use the huge hot tub or outside fire pit. Pool table is nice and on lower level which has popcorn machine and s'mores fixins as well as games and movies which is a great touch. No TV on the main floor. Has kid-friendly things like railings and chairs in the main floor closet for families as well as a roll-away bed and blow up mattress on the lower level. The gates on the porch were nice for keeping our dog contained.

Breathtaking Views and Vibes

Matt and Dana were excellent hosts! The cabin was clean and spacious, inside and outdoors! We loved the starter stocked kitchen, it worked well for making dinner one of the nights. We enjoyed eating outside at the dinner table on the porch. The location was a great hideaway but lots of neighbors to not feel alone, and not far from the downtown area. (Downtown Pizza Co.was a great choice). Wifi was perfect since cell service was spotty. The kids loved it and enjoyed loft bedroom, hot tub, pool table, and fire pit for smores, just as much as we did. There are many things to do and Matt and Dana made sure to give us plenty of ideas and options. We will visit again! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Perfect cabin

We had the best time. The cabin is so spacious and well stocked and the view was incredible! The hot tub and fire pit were great as well as the pool table. The owners have thought of everything. Kitchen well stocked and the kids loved the numerous movies and popcorn maker. Beds were so comfortable. I highly recommend this cabin.

The Perfect Getaway

My family loved the amenities of the cabin, the proximity to fishing, hiking, and rafting, and the sense of privacy offered. The view from the property is spectacular, as advertised. The hot tub is nice, but the real fun was had around the pool table on the lowest floor and on the rapids of the Ocoee nearby. Loved our stay and loved the property.

Tara and Tim were wonderful to work with! Our GPS sent us through some rugged terrain. When we realized that we had made a wrong turn, they guided us to their beautiful cabin! We were in the Murphy area for a family wedding. The cabin provided everything youā€™d need and more for a fun filled & relaxing weekend! Spectacular views from the wrap around deck on a perfectly decorated & furnished mountain home! Weā€™ll be back!

Summer get away

We really enjoyed the house and the surrounding area. The view was beautiful, property amazing. We honestly loved the place. The younger ones in our group loved the outdoors and the lower level with pool table and hot tub. Owners were very helpful with everything. Will be looking into staying again next summer.

An absolute dream vacation

This house will meet and exceed all expectations. My group of 6 spent 5 nights here and everyone left the house impressed, relaxed, and with good memories. This place was scheduled on a whim due to the glowing reviews and all of the reviews are true. Every room is stocked with supplies, cleaned to the point you wonder if you're the first to stay, and provide an inclusive feeling while still maintaining privacy. Hot tub and pool table are amazing. Kitchen is loaded; no utensil or cooking dish needs to be brought from home. Movies supplied with a popcorn maker and different seasonings available. Truly a top tier vacation home. The property managers also contribute to an easy and effortless stay. Prompt replies and everything on schedule.
