"On arriving the property was very difficult to find and when l did find it my room was occupied by someone else. I was given the room next-door which was dark and unwelcoming. Neither the room or the surroundings were as advertised, photos were totally misleading. I was absolutely discussed by the level of cleanliness and left immediately finding myself having to find somewhere else to stay at 8.30 in the evening and £364 out of pocket. Will not be using Expedia ever again!!"

"I chose the Kings Arms for location and the olde worlde look of the rooms on their website. The location was perfect for our trip, however the hotel was not! Check in is at the bar - all ok. We were told no food being served on Friday night despite the website showing a bar b que style restaurant (the hotel info in the room said pizza but there was neither) They offered recommendations but we found our own. Also told no breakfast available, same story, we found our own. We were walked outside to...

"A lovely B&B, quiet, simple, easy parking free of charge if you arrive around 17:00 and stay till 11 am. Very convenient. Very good English breakfast."

"Having waited for my room to be "prepared ", I was led to a double room, the staff member telling me he had "upgraded" me. He showed me the shared bathroom and told me there was tea and coffee in the kitchen, which was on the same floor. Upon inspecting the kitchen I noted dirty cups and a baking train the sink, as well as milk which had turned and some out of date food. Later in the evening, having returned from a visit, I ate a very pleasant steak before going out again. I retired at 9.30...

"The hotel could not be better located. In the heart of Stratford, minutes walking from absolutely everything. And what a great room! Luminous, spacious, comfortable bed, very clean cotton linen. There's no front desk, the entrance is through the pub, but who cares? It only adds charm to this nice inn. Highly recommended,"

"Delightful accommodation in a beautiful village pub. As a family of three, we stayed in the Superior Suite, Room 4. Our window view was a charming old church. Room/linen was spotless, towels were hotel quality, powerful shower, comfy beds, amazing cooked breakfast and kind hosts. No pub noise and we stayed on a Fri and Sat night. It's very quiet. Safe car parking right outside too. Dog friendly. Great location if visiting Cotswolds/Diddly Squat and The Farmer's Dog. Wish we could have stayed...
