Lovely, Lake get a way!
Beautiful scenery all around. We went off season to enjoy the lake too much but the views are fantastic.

Voll ausgestattetes Ferienhaus direkt am See
Ich wurde sehr freundlich vom Gastgeber empfangen und herumgeführt. Die Unterkunft ist mehr als vollständig ausgestattet. Ich hatte besonders viel Spass mit dem Gasgrill am Pavillon direkt am Wasser und der reichhaltigen Schallplattensammlung nebst Musiktruhe Plattenspieler und CD.

Wonderful Retreat
This place is a fantastic place for a retreat. It is very remote. Private lake access, kayaks and boats for fishing or just for fun. The building itself was very cozy with a sunroom and the owners do live on one side with a connecting door but they are delightful and give you plenty of space. Highly recommend

Sweet and cozy!
We had a quiet, relaxing stay and even got out on the water a little. There's a nice kitchen for cooking, a cozy fireplace and some great records to listen to! Highly recommend.

Great hosts! Nice house by the lake.
Just needs a few more outlets to charge your devices. The hosts are very attentive. Certainly do wish the gas logs had blowers.

Wonderfully relaxing
We arrived and Kevin came and welcomed us and told us what we needed to know and recommended some things to visit in the area. The house was surprisingly spacious with high ceilings…a definite plus with a husband who is 6’5”. Since it was a rainy weekend, the sun room was much appreciated as well as the covered pavilion. I enjoyed the dock as much as the weather would allow. We enjoyed meeting Tami and their cute little grandchildren later in the day! Overall a very relaxing and much needed get away. We will definitely return when we can!

Peaceful getaway
We were pleasantly surprised at the quiet solitude of the cabin on the beautiful lake. The purpose of the trip was to visit friends who live in the area; however, wish we would have had more time to simply enjoy the property and accommodations. We did manage to carve out time to paddle around the lake in the paddle boat, which was a delight!

Exceptional accommodations!
Our husband and I stayed here on our way to visit his brother in Horseheads NY. My husband is an avid fisherman but as we get older we appreciate the shorter distances to get to the water. The dock was pleasantly close to the house, and our living area was larger than we could have expected! Filled with toys and games for the kids’ amusement if needed, and a wonderfully appointed kitchen and large living room for the grown ups! Just wonderful! Views of the lake from several seating areas were just a huge bonus, not to mention use of a pavilion outside close to the water. Perfect place to unwind! The kind owners were sweet and there if you needed anything but very non invasive. A great place to catch fish and enjoy wildlife at the lake!

Amazing getaway!
The photos of this place do not do it justice! Really adorable little house on an absolutely beautiful lake. The hosts were very nice and very communicative without being oppressive. We made a mistake in our booking and had two extra people and they were very understanding and nice. Fully stocked kitchen and grill, boats and paddleboards for use, and great swimming - made for an amazing trip. Would love to go back!

Like a little secret in the mountains
This was a great getaway place. Just what we needed. Small quiet area for some fishing. The hosts had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. They were communicative and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

Cozy Cabin in the woods!
The cabin was very pretty and cozy. Everything that we needed was there except for meals. The lake was beautiful and the fishing was great. The owners were available if we needed anything and were very nice but in no way intrusive.

A breath of quiet fresh air
Kevin and Tami were very personable. The house has more than enough space and is very homey. We spent a lot of time hanging out at the picnic table, firepit and dock and enjoying the quiet and the beautiful weather. We BBQed almost every night! The water is great for swimming and fishing! Highly recommended! Thank you

A BRIEF STAY AT THE BEL-AIR LAKE
We didn't arrive at the rental until 8:00 at night. Kevin and Tami went out of the way to make us feel right at home. They were also only a phone call away when we had questions. The view overlooking the lake was incredible ! I recommend this rental especially for a long stay, since there were plenty of water toys to take out on the lake.

Beautiful gem
Perfectly situated on the lake with plenty to do. Fishing, canoeing etc. Took a rowboat out one morning with my grandson and the scenery was amazing. Lots of fish to catch! The house was beautiful, clean, and had a fully equipped kitchen for cooking meals. Lots of games & toys for our grandson to enjoy. The beautiful views from the dining area bay window and the sunroom were breathtaking in the mornings when we had coffee and breakfast. The hosts Kevin and Tami were very kind and welcoming. This house is a true gem!

Great Vacation
My wife & I [65 & 71] enjoyed our stay at this very cozy, quiet,well-equipped cabin, on a nice small lake. I caught fish from the dock and we both enjoyed a few days of peace & quiet. Our hosts were wonderful. Definitely 5 stars. Thanks.

Paradise!
June 17-24. Thank you Kevin and Tammi for sharing your beautiful home and lakefront property with my boys and I. The entire process from start to finish was excellent. For me, it was paradise. The constant breeze of fresh mountain air. The rippling water throughout the day. The birds chirping. The hammock! My sons really enjoyed the fishing and the use of your boats, thank you. We all enjoyed our encounters in the afternoon with you both. We had great weather too. While Hallstead and Montrose are short drives, I felt no need to leave. We did enjoy the quick drive to Salt Springs though. Finally, the kitchen. What a great user friendly kitchen. It had everything we needed. So, thank you so much for our comfortable, relaxing and fun-filled stay. We hope to return someday.

Simply beautiful
Everything i have seen and read in the comments about this place was accurate! The house was beautiful, the decor was amazing, everything was clean. We had everything we needed there and some stuff we forgot lol. The home is a lot bigger and spacious than the pictures depicted. When we arived we were greated by the host who was very freidly. We brough games and things with us but didnt touch them because they had so any games puzzels etc. That kept us busy. The view of the lake in the morning while eating breakfast was majestic. Not to mention all the paddle boats kayaks at our disposal, we will definitely be returning with our son since this was a romantic getaway. See you again soon!

This place was great,relaxing and quiet. Just what we needed. The fishing was wonderful. My husband was very happy with the amoount of fish he caught! Tami and Kevin were the perfect hosts. Very friendly and accommodating! We are already talking about going back!

Awesome weekend fishing and hanging out by camp fire
If you need peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the world, this is your retreat. Bring your fishing gear and swimwear. The rest of the outdoor activities are included. Multiple kayaks and canoe for use. Dock and floating dock for swimming. Very nice house. Kitchen fully stocked with all cookware. Good three season room overlooking the lake. Great hosts. Thank you for the great weekend.

The view was amazing and the property owners were friendly. You had kitchen materials, access to the lake, fire pit and grilling. Owners gave us a tour around the house, answered our questions and even baked us a muffin. Overall our stay was quiet and peaceful.

Lovely stay!
This half a house on the lake was lovely. You go in through the kitchen, into the living room area which has a pullout and a single bed day bed, and the bedroom and bath. Everything was clean and the place was full of cool pictures and trinkets. The kitchen table is next to a window facing the lake, where you can enjoy the view. Lovely, would stay again,

a great experience at the lake house everything we needed was there. Kevin and Tammy were great hosts we really enjoyed sitting around the campfire chatting with them. Tammy met us upon arrival and gave a tour and some outstanding banana bread.

Relaxing mini-vacation
A beautiful visit to this cozy home on a lake. We were very content to sit in the yard and watch the quiet activity of the birds, fish and rabbits. When we weren’t outside paddling on the lake we were inside cooking delicious meals with everything we needed provided except the food. The beds were comfortable and there were even toys for my 11 month old grandson. The owners were on the property in an adjoining partitioned off part of the house. They were there if we needed anything but never intrusive. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone.
