" Location was very quaint and picturesque. Our room was very clean. We enjoyed having breakfast and dinners at the restaurant. The food was delicious and staff was very accommodating. The only complaint was the shower water temperature took too long to become warm. We would definitely return to Smugglers again. "

"My wife and I enjoyed our time at the resort. Property is quiet and well maintained. Views are breathtaking and pleasant. Staff were very friendly and pleasant and sought to make sure we had all we needed. Food was spot on! We tried as much as we could that was on the menu and couldn’t find anything we didn’t like and wouldn’t eat again. "Room smelled strongly of old cooked food (Indian?). Windows were already left open to air the room out when we arrived. Luckily, we arrived early enough to run the fan for a couple of hours prior to going to bed. Room should not have been rented that day. Am continental buffet was good. Coffee was pretty good."

"Location is close to what we wanted (botanical gardens and Boothbay Harbor shops). The plusses were free breakfast, nice trails connected to property, icecream across the street. The minuses were the pool/hot tub not open as expected,our room was not deep cleaned."
