"This home was perfect for our group, four adults and two kids. The no wake cove was great for swimming and fishing. We caught lots of cats and carp off the bank, plenty of brim and a good size large mouth bass. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again."

"This was a great stay for 15 guys on a bachelors trip. The house was amazing, we fished on the dock, and it wasn’t far from the bridgewater plaza. The only thing was we had to buy our own paper towels and toilet paper. "

"Very pleasant and responsive host. Were able to check in early, and this kept us out of the rain. Arrived by water, secured boat in the slip, went up to the room. Condo is VERY roomy! The vaulted ceilings with the skylights along with the plentiful glass windows were perfect for light and open feeling. The condo was clean, had an abundance of snacks, coffee, bottled water available. The place was clean and inviting. Board games, books and cards kept us occupied during the periodic rain showers....

"Our whole family - our three sons, their spouses and children - spent a spectacular week together at Hideaway Ridge on Smith Mountain Lake. The home, setting, facilities, and location enabled us to spend lots of time together while also providing spaces for children to play separately from adults visiting. "I really enjoyed this place with my family. We are 16 people, including teenagers, seniors and children. This place is perfect for all ages. The kitchen is good, all the rooms are comfortable and the hot tub is the best part of this place. I read people talking about the access ramp to the cars, but I didn't think it was bad. We were in 4 cars and everything went super well. Mike gave a lot of tips on how to rent a boat and it was great to do that. I plan to go to this house again soon."

"When we arrived everything was clean, well stocked, and thoughtfully decorated (loved the retro kitchen). We loved the pool (was super warm to swim) and the view (great for people watching if you’re like me ). We even got to see some cool lightning and thunderstorms on the lake. "Overall, good value for the money. Happened to run into owner outside as we checked in. He was checking in on the dock being built. Very friendly. The only thing was the dock was under construction and couldn't be utilized and we had to bring our own sheets. Other than that, great location, good value for the money, kitchen was stocked. "Our gang of 15 had a wonderful week at the Firefly Estate. The house is huge and very clean. We swam in the pool and the lake every day. Enjoyed the paddle board and kayak. Played lots of ping pong, grilled many dinners, enjoyed a outside fire, played games and ate together on the large dining table, appreciated the AC and fans in the house while it was 90 outside; had great communication with the host and our needs/requests were accomodated quickly.
