"We had a lovely short stay at The Feathers. The room was lovely, with an amazing bathtub and, best of all, AIR CONDITIONING, which we really appreciated as it was unusually hot during our visit. The room was also very quiet at night - we heard hardly anything from the pub. I recommend the pub itself too, lovely decor and very friendly staff. We would definitely stay there again, and absolutely recommend it to other travellers. "

"Beautiful hotel and nicely decorated rooms. At check-in, reception staff called Victoria was not very welcome and did not seem keen on relocating us to another room (the one given to us was on a lower level and the lift was out of order). I was with a 1 year old child, pregnant and had heavy suitcases, however she insisted there's was nothing she could do to help, treated us poorly and did not seem to care. "First stay at Mountain Park hotel Flint. Great welcome off lovely, friendly staff. Welcome information given. Our room was lovely and spacious. Very clean and a comfortable bed. We didnt stay for breakfast so couldnt comment on the food The only picky but is the Wifi kept dipping in and out which made it difficult at times but not the end of the world. "We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"Lovely little hotel we would t hesitate to stay in again. We had a lovely welcome on arrival, and the room was clean and functional. Yes, it’s dated and parts are not ideal but the owner is obviously trying to improve as and when they can and responds to all feedback positively. I think the descriptions of the rooms etc could do to be improved just for clarity, but it’s a minor issue. I’ll definitely be back in the future. "

"I have stayed twice at the Talardy when my dad has been in hospital. The staff are amazing, very caring and quick to help. The first time I stayed in the main building, this time in the annex. Both are very good, and I appreciated the air con as I arrived in a heat wave. The rooms are very clean and roomy. The breakfasts are cooked fresh and very filling.
