"A smaller hotel but with provided a great experience. The staff were outstanding from reception to the bar. The rooms were very cool (we had a family room) and large, clean and very well appointed. The restaurant always looked good with many options enough to satisfy kids too. The kids also loved the pool & table tennis games room. The Dive centre in the hotel was also excellent and one of the reasons we chose this hotel. It all worked well. Just over an hour from the airport but plenty stuff...

"If You are looking for an American/European resort this place May disappoint you. When I travel I like authentic local places. This place is totally Africa. Breakfast was modest and great. The food to order from the kitchen was fresh and very reasonably priced. The bring the food to you in front of your bungalow. Security was good. The highlight of my entire trip was swimming with the turtles that you can do for free if you stay here. Very close to beach and local Zoo."

"J'ai passé un séjour exceptionnel à The Villa of Zanzibar ! Cette villa offre un cadre calme et apaisant, tout en étant à 10 minutes en voiture de Nungwi, un village animé. Pour mon séjour, j'ai loué la Sea View 2. La vue donne directement sur la piscine et plus loin l'océan, un vrai bonheur lors du réveil ! La chambre était nettoyée tous les jours et de nouvelles décorations avec des fleurs étaient chaque fois créés sur le lit. Une attention qui m'a beaucoup plu. Le personnel était souriant...

"I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...
