"very steep stairs leading to rooms. Property is showing signs of wear and tear. We received emails regarding questions of access and connection to after-hours staff after we left!!! The room was clean and well stocked but showed its age. there is a much better option 10 minutes up the road for almost half the price. There are no extra amenities to speak of . Basically, there are only 2 options within the village and thus, this one is overpriced. Stay in Haliburton or Bracebridge instead."

"We stayed in the "dome" and it was spectacular. Fully equipped with top of the line amenities, and extras we didn't expect. Very relaxing location, great to sit by the pool on a hot day - and yes you can see the lake through the trees in the distance... S"

"Do not even consider staying here!!!! The property inside and outside is awful!!! . It could be an amazing property but owners have let it go. We had initially booked a room for 2 nights, but refused to stay due to the conditions. We couldn’t find another place to stay as it was a long weekend so we drove 4 hrs to return home. We are waiting to get a refund. This establishment does not deserve even one star. AWFUL!!!"
