"We really enjoyed our stay at Karen’s Cottage with our 9 month old. The location was great — nice and secluded but still close to town. The cottage itself had everything we needed. We did a lot of barbecuing, and the bunkee was a big bonus. We had a visitor with a baby, and the way the bunkee and cottage were set up meant we didn’t disturb each other so it’s great for families! There’s a small play area out front with a swing both babies loved! We brought our cat and she was very comfortable...

"We booked our stay in advance and it fell on the weekend of a huge snow storm 3 feet. Power went out as well. But we had heat thankfully, and owners had a generator. They kept the driveways clear of snow. The view was picturesque. It was peaceful fun. "

"Stayed here a few days with some friends and had a wonderful time. The area is private but only a short drive into town. Lots of games and movies which was great as we got a bit of rain. We also enjoyed kayaking down the river."

The hosts were amazing – very welcoming and always responsive to our requests, including providing bed linens we hadn’t realized we needed to bring. We truly enjoyed using the kayaks, SUP boards, and pedal boat. It was a lovely and memorable holiday!"

"Loved our stay at this property! Cottage was clean, great layout for two families with young kids, great amenities. Lake was shallow and pretty reed free.We had a wonderful time and hope to come back! "

"This was a lovely property! The outdoor spaces were delightful, and we enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. The photographs accurately reflected the interior and exterior spaces, and the interior was comfortable and well-laid-out. We especially loved how light-filled the house was, and the walk-out level game and television room was definitely a bonus! The host was responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Our family and friends really enjoyed the house and all the amenities. The house is beautiful with lots of room for our 3 families. But the best part was the 2 tiered deck and dock right on the gorgeous lake. Sunsets were mesmerizing as well. We loved our stay here and would give it a solid recommendation. "

"My family had a great time at this location! The host was very responsive and helpful and even let us check in early. A couple things to be aware of: there is a dam right by the cottage so there’s a mild current and waterfall sounds which we personally didnt mind. Secondly, swimming right off the dock isn’t fantastic since it’s somewhat shallow and there are lures in the rocks. That being said, there is a public swimming dock a 2 min walk down the way that was very nice and the dock at the...

He even checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed, which was much appreciated. The house was very clean and well-maintained, providing ample space for our party of 12.
