Pousadas (Inns) em Millom, ENG

"Regrettably our room number 6. Did not smell nice. It had the smell of old wet trainers. We did mention it and a room diffuser was turned on. Some of the fixtures and fitting were falling apart. The shower was head was not appropriate for the size of the shower causing flooding. The staff were lovely and theroom was clean."

"Super nice staff! We stayed there for two days and enjoyed a comfortable bed and a great vibe. It was my uncle's birthday, and they helped prepare a cake with a candle and sang the birthday song. Thanks to the chef and all the staff that night! The food was great as well."

"Lovely room. We booked the dog friendly room and we had dog bowls, and a doggy treat pack including toy, treats & poo bags. Nice little touch! Great food as always, lovely full English breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend."

"All the staff we met were great, cheerfull helpfull and polite. The room was clean and comfortable and what one expects in a very old building. Only 4 stars for 2 reasons the shower only worked on the large head and the food choices were very limited both in the restaurant and at breakfast. No salads and limited vegetables in restaurant. No fruit or cereal at breakfast. The hotel is remote which is part of it's appeal for us so going out in the evening is not an option,I would have struggled...

"Superb location. Great kitchen.Nicely renovated room. Above all staff members are super helpful"

"Exceptional stay! Beautiful breakfast, great location and very clean! Would highly recommend."

"Ótimo custo benefício, porem o café da manhã é muito básico e a cortina não escurece totalmente o quarto"

"At the fringes of the town, so it’s quieter. There is no lifts at Lakehouse so please ensure you get the ground floor if you have difficulty climbing stairs, especially with big luggage."

"The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular...
