Off season rates in place now October 2024 through March 2025: monthly booking @ $60 per night and 30 day minimum. Perfect for traveling workforce or temporary relocation needs. Summer season rates start again 4/1/25. Plan your getaway steps from Lake Michigan's Sheridan Beach. This classic beach cottage is the perfect blend of quiet comfort and family fun. Plenty of activity close by with Washington Park Marina/Park/Zoo, Sheridan Beach, downtown Michigan City restaurants and Blue Chip Casino...all a short walk or bike ride away. This is next door to our second cottage property #2306789 if you are interested in booking both cottages. Perfect for families vacationing together.

We LOVED the cozy cottage. We were a family of 5 who lived and stayed comfortably here. It was fully stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. The place was clean and well taken care of. We were a 10 minute walk to the beach and had plenty of outdoor space to sit and enjoy the evening. We will absolutely be returning!

Quick Stay

Originally booked this to have easy access to the Indiana Dunes, however with the heat decided to instead spend our time at Washington Park Beach. The house was super close, and stocked with sand toys and beach chairs. Everything was exactly as pictured and very convenient. The beach is fantastic, aside from the industrial area nearby. Some of the clearest water and best sand bottom weā€™ve been to along Lake Michigan. The stairs up to the loft area are very tiny and steep, just a warning they may not be good for someone who has mobility challenges. However, this sleeping area was perfect for my two kids to share!

Great location

Perfect location for the beach and the cooler on wheels and beach chairs were helpful. The cottage was small but fine for our family and the two kids loved having the loft to themselves. The cottage is definitely older and a bit worn around the edges but great for a long weekend away from the city.

Great little cottage Just had a delayed Check in!!! No paper towels , tolit papar, bath soap, and a light on in a locked closet. Floors definitely need to be replaced soon there sinking . Otherwise awesome location

Great place!!

This little property has a lot of interior charm! They pay close attention to the things offered in the kitchen area!!! From someone who loves to cook. Great location close to the beach. Furniture comfy and useful. I recommend this property and the host.

Indiana Dunes stay

Stay was good. Area was safe and quiet. Ate at Dune Billies - was a neat local place. Dinner at Shoreline was also good. Follow the directions in the guide to a great beach within walking distance. Just FYI if you drive over to Washington Park there is a $15 fee to park. We went to Indiana Dunes Stare Park which is 20 minutes away, enjoyed the dune challenge and wonderful beach there too..

Perfect landing pad

Loved this house for our long weekend trip. Just enough room for our family of 5, really enjoyed the outside space after a busy day of running around the dunes and the beach. Kids liked playing with the sand toys and adults enjoyed the beach chairs. Close to everything we wanted to do but wish we had more days to explore!

The cottage was cozy but had everything you need. Itā€™s the perfect location and the owners were great. It was a little too close for comfort with our original crew of 6 adults and a toddler but once a couple of them left half way through the trip it was perfect. The location was absolutely perfect. I loved it!!

Great stay & Excellent hosts

The cottage was in a perfect location for us, walking distance to a semi-private feeling beach and local cafes. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and even a couple cold beers in the fridge. Tom and Susan also graciously let us check out later on Fatherā€™s Day so that we wouldnā€™t miss out on our extended familyā€™s Beach Day. Would totally recommend their beach cottage.

Great stay by the beach!

My girlfriend and myself along with our dogs had a great little weekend visiting with relatives and enjoying the beach life. Cozy cabin 1 block from the beach, quiet area, no noisy neighbors. Bed was nice to sleep in all linens were clean. Overall great stay!

Weekend getaway

We loved the location and the house - it was close to Indiana Dunes which is where we were hiking plus Michigan City. It was also 2 blocks to the beach which was a bonus. There were workers there Saturday all day pounding and making noise which was a little frustrating when we were trying to relax and rest but otherwise it was a beautiful location and the house met all our needs!
