"Geweldige locatie, zeer vriendelijk personeel. Goede parkeergelegenheid. Het bed vonden wij iets minder en schimmel in de douche had vermeden kunnen worden."

"Convenient overnight stop when visiting our daughter. Car park is large but there are lots of larger vehicles that double park making it tight for others. It's clean, comfortable bed, good shower but you can hear everything from surrounding rooms...sneezing, coughing, burping, snoring, use your imagination!!"

"Nice location, good staff and fab food"

"Really lovely stay - friendly staff in a small pub in Combe Down open for evening meals during the week, and open for lunch onwards at the weekend. We had a lovely welcome, preordered breakfast for the next morning which was really delicious, and was shown to our room upstairs. A lovely view of the white horse in the distance and a comfy bed, with lovely furnishings. We would stay again."

"refreshingly different menu. breakfast was fine, but not a fan of soda bread"

"We were very disappointed. Lack of maintenance meant room was very poor. Room was vvv cold, we were given an extra duvet. Windows didn't shut properly. Bedside lamp didn't work. Shower head not fixed to wall. Room was small but we expected that."

"Muito bom hotel, tudo novinho "

"A lovely room. Light airy with big bathroom, comfy bed, excellent complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits in spacious room, with great view. Breakfast and evening meal all homemade/cooked. High standard and delicious."

"Excellent stay."

"Hotel encantador, restaurante muito bom, café da manhã magnífico, incluso na tarifa. O pessoal do hotel é super atencioso e educado."

"This was a charming apartment that was walking distance from everything we wanted to see. Breakfasts were excellent!"

"On arrival we were greeted by the 2 staff on duty and after a short wait (because we arrived early and a room change) we were shown to the room and the breakfast was explained to us as was the after hours procedure. All staff we met were very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very good, lovely to be able to sit outside and enjoy the early morning sun. It was also nice to be able to sit outside in the evening The room was clean and we had a fan to help try and keep the room cool...
