"We really enjoyed our stay in this Civil War era home. Very clean with plenty of towels and soaps. It had a good location in Sharpsburg. We walked to the bakery (twice), the ice cream shop and the library. Easy access to the Antietam Battlefield. Appliances worked as expected. We have stayed in numerous period homes and this home was by far the best equipped for preparing meals in the kitchen. Wi-Fi was very good and strong throughout the home. Great place to stay in Sharpsburg."

"Everything was wonderful. Previous reviews complained about the shower, no where to put your clothes, and no umbrella. My wife and I thought the shower pressure was amazing. In the property description it explains there is a chest of drawers in each bedroom. And an umbrella is now provided inside residence to use for the patio. Very clean, property is just as it’s described. We loved being so close to the beach! It was amazing to have a washer and dryer, now I only have 1 load left to wash once...

The beds were so comfortable and all the windows made for a sunny spot in every room. We had everything we needed for our stay and couldn't think of anything the host did not consider to make our visit great.
