Maple Falls Cabin #58 – The Refuge at Kulshan!
“AMAZING” best describes this brand new and magnificent ultra-chic 2-bedroom,
2-bath family vacation home perched on a hilltop with unbelievable mountain
views! Beginning with Shou Sugi Ban siding, this architect designed cabin is
absolutely 21st Century in every sense of the word. This mod home features a
fantastic floorplan with opposing bedrooms…each with its own ensuite bath, for
the ultimate in privacy and functionality. It's perfectly set up for two
couples or small families with kids. Upon entering, you'll be delighted by the
plank style flooring and birch and maplewood paneling throughout. The galley
style kitchen is equipped with many hidden features including a stealth Miele
refrigerator/freezer and drawer style dishwasher, a stealth induction range
that blends seamlessly under Dekton countertops, (spoiler alert: the range is
located right under the fan hood!) a built-in Miele oven, and a combined
pantry and laundry cubby featuring a large capacity stack washer and dryer.
Inspired by the mountain views offered from the kitchen window, it's an
absolute culinary delight! Stepping into the large open living /dining room
area, you'll discover floor to ceiling windows offering breathtaking
southwesterly views of the North Cascades. There's also a dining table with
seating for four, and a large and comfy couch for taking in nature's
splendor…all accompanied by a modern design Morse wood burning fireplace
(firewood provided). Stepping out of the living room and into the west wing
bedroom reveals 1-queen sized bed and an ensuite split ¾-bath, replete with a
tiled rain shower. Stepping out of the living room and into the east wing
bedroom reveals 1-queen sized bed and an ensuite ¾-bath…also with a tiled rain
shower. A heat pump unit provides both heat and air conditioning throughout,
while a back-up generator provides plenty of power in the event of a power
outage. An EV charger (Nema 50 + 110v) will keep your electric vehicle charged
and happy. There's no wimpy wifi here…this cabin is equipped with Starlink
(speeds up to 120 GBPS) for endless streaming, zoom calling, or just keeping
up with friends and family. Oh, and did we mention the view? My oh my! Don't
forget Fido, this pet-friendly (2-pet maximum – NO exceptions) and monitored
family vacation property will comfortably sleep up to 4-persons (ENFORCED
Maximum Occupancy!).

The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground, offering a
plethora of activities for all seasons! SUMMER Guests can immerse themselves
in great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing,
backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting,
whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, and nature viewing. WINTER Guests can
indulge in spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing,
snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don't forget your camera...the
photography opportunities are unsurpassed year-round!

** This rural vacation home is located on an unimproved road that is not
maintained by the county. While impassibility is infrequent, Winter Guests are
strongly advised to prepare using 4-wheel/all-wheel drive vehicles
accordingly. No guarantees are expressed nor implied regarding road
conditions, and refunds are not provided for circumstances beyond our control.
**Wi-Fi service is now available in our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for
Guest use. However, the service is currently subject to failure, as the
service provider is dialing everything in. Intermittent service failures are
circumstances beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are
provided if the FREE Wi-Fi SERVICE fails to function correctly.
**This cabin is a monitored family vacation home, not a party house. In this
regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate
eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per the written
Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to always treat this private
residence with the utmost respect, as well as to be mindful of neighboring
homes and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them
at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitee's actions. They
should be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in
advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. Guests
seeking party house accommodations are advised to seek such accommodations via
a different provider.
