You walk into the enclosed porch where you can store your gear and coats, and then enter the great room with its vaulted ceiling with views right out to the amazing backyard. The kitchen is very well equipped for anything; the dining room table is open to the kitchen and surrounded by windows on the three other walls with views of the yard and water..Sleeping accommodations were quite comfortable with one of the bedrooms accessed via a spiral staircase...

We enjoyed so many activities both on the island and in the surrounding area which felt like a nostalgic step back in time. We really loved using the included boat to get to and from the island, for fishing, and to position ourselves for perfect sunsets on the lake. We also loved using the kayaks.
