Th property contained everything needed for fun on the lake, meal prep and comfort. Cleanliness was great even to my exacting standards. Our host was very easy to communicate either and responded quickly to any questions that came up. Timberwind was fabulous!"

"We enjoyed the secluded nature of the cabin. Very important for our anxious dog. We felt safe and comfortable, especially walking him on the road. Bring repellant for deer flies if you're staying in the summer! It was the perfect getaway for us. "

"Nice relaxing atmosphere for a quick getaway. We found the Forest Pond Cottage to be exactly as described. Carol and Dan Empie are thoughtful and gracious hosts. "

"Amazing house, close to Water Safari and very beautiful house. Made the weekend great to end our busy 2 days to come back to this great house! Property manager was very responsive."

"Very nice house and lots of space. Sandy bottom shallows made for fun times with the kids. Bonus is that there were Labor Day fireworks in the harbor. 4 stars for location as the house is on the channel from Old Forge proper to the main lake (1st) but plenty wide enough feel like lake front. Dock was a plus for boat tie up. Owners were very nice and responsive. "

"This property is a dream. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is it. Right on the river, walking distance to hiking, and complete privacy from neighbors. There's a side yard area where my 4 year old could safely play without worrying he'd run toward the water. Access to the water was easy for us, water low now so we practiced fishing on the rocks. We are looking forward to returning when the water is high so we can go tubing!! I've stayed in a number of places in adk and this one is...

"Property was clean and as described. Had everything that was needed and nothing that wasn't. Was looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful place and the property didn't disappoint. Owner was very responsive to any questions/needs I had. Got lucky with perfect fall weather. Would stay again!"

"Really enjoyed my stay at the house on the hill. Perfect location. We got to see the fireworks right from the front porch. Great view of the lake. Would definitely stay there again just an FYI you do need to bring your own sheets. pillows were provided and blankets provided. "

"It was great. We are somewhat biased as this was our past family home so we already knew what to expect for the most part. There have been some great renovations to attic which is now a great getaway for kids of all ages in the game room. We made use of the kayaks and fire pit often. The location is perfect for getting to town using the trail along the lake. The large dock is perfect for sitting, swimming, fishing, and boating. The whole family loved creating new memories as well as remembering...
