WE were pretty disappointed from the first day. The towels were put away wet, as was one throw blanket. The kitchen floors don't appear to have been cleaned properly. The bedding on the king bed did not fit a king bed, and the sheets and pillow cases were stained. There was only one beach towel, even though it said there were two.The chairs on the roof from which you could watch the sunset were all ripped. out of the six chairs, only one wasn't ripped. There was also no umbrella.Our refrigerator broke down after two days and took 5 days to be repaired. We had just bought our groceries, too. The host did compensate us for the lost food and a little extra for the inconvenience, but it did ruin the first week of our stay, as we had to wait daily for the technician to show, which happened daily for 3 days.The kitchen had an electrical fire, and we had to evacuate and be moved to another property through VRBO.It took us 4 attempts to connect with VRBO at the time of the fire, during this crisis.We waited for about 20 minutes after initial contact to be put through to a supervisor, and then the call was dropped. The next attempt, we were placed on hold for 2 hours…AND I AM NOT exaggerating here. 2 frickin hours.
