"Honestly, worst experience I've ever had renting a property. Felt like I got scammed from the start. Arrived at JFK at 3. Still had no address from host. Was about 3:30 & I had to tell the taxi to head to the Upper West Side & I would give him address when I got it. When we finally got a response from "host," it was after 4 on day of check in. Got to address he gave me & it was a completely different property. Neither the host nor the property mgmt company bothered to mention that they changed...

"This was an excellent stay in a nicely appointed condo on the east side. The neighborhood was safe and quiet and the unit was 16 stories up. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the Rosevelt Tram is just up the street. There's a insanely busy Trader Joe's in easy walking distance and plenty of small shops and street vendors. The nearest subway stop (the "E" line) is a bit of a walk, but there are crosstown bus stops on every block and just outside the lobby. The king-size bed was comfy and...

"Die Zimmer sind wirklich nur zum Schlafen gedacht, ich denke, so war es auch gedacht. Wenn Sie also nur eine Unterkunft zum Übernachten suchen, ist es in Ordnung, aber für einen richtigen Urlaub ist es nicht so toll. Die Lage ist fantastisch, nur wenige Schritte vom Herzen des Times Square entfernt. Das Personal ist gut."

We ended up using plastic utensils as several forks and knives were dirty.- coffee maker didn’t work- debris on ground of kitchen- the apartment is dark! The pictures are not totally reflective- no AC in the main bedroom. Window AC in the main room- only 1 key!! Not sure how you can sleep 8 people and only have 1 key. "The picture is of the front building & the apartment is in the back of it. So it isn't a street view but it is nice and quiet being in the back building. It is behind a hooka lounge so they can be a little noisey at night. Other than that, i felt safe, it was clean, the host was amazing at communicating and with instructions.
