Romantic Challet in Old Town Sintra With Views. Pets are Welcome!

Welcome to our 19th Century Old Chalet in the Heart of Old Town Sintra. We will lodge you and your group in this sunny, bright house, with terraces and gardens overlooking the greenery, the palaces and the beautiful Old Town Sintra Valley. Inside the property, across the main house there is a studio with its own terrace and gorgeous views, for 2 people.
In total, we can lodge up to 12 adults plus 3 babies or small children. This is our Family Holiday Home that we love and are now happy to open to guests. In the Main House you have 3 floors: the main floor has 2 double rooms with private bathrooms, the main kitchen, living and dining room and a super pleasant patio with a table for 12 people. The upper floor has one double room, one full bathroom with bathtub, one living room with an extra single bed, a breakfast room which doubles as an office, a kitchen and a patio with amazing views. The ground floor has a family room where there is a projector for home cinema, one doublebedroom with a double bed, a kitchenette, a full bathroom and one patio. Then the studio has a queensize bed, kitchenette, full bathroom and an incredibly nice large patio immersed in the greenery.

GATHERING AROUND THE TABLE
In the front patio, which is perfect for lunching outside and to watch the sun setting behind the hill, we have a dinning table sitting 10 to 12 people, and an extra table sitting 2.
In the main Babaji garden, where you can read sitting on the swing by pond overlooking the marvellous view of the Valley, we have a shaded area under a pergola with tables and chairs, and a barbecue for your use, with towels, crockery, glasses, and cutlery.
Inside the house, the dining room table seats 6 to 8 people, and we have an extension table that can be added to the main table, which seats an additional 4 to 6 people.

CELEBRATIONS WITH NON-STAYING GUESTS
For an extra fee of 1500,00 euros plus VAT, the Babaji garden is prepared for small events up to 25 people (we may add one table for up to 30 people as a maximum), ideal for micro-weddings and baptisms, family and friends celebrations, birthdays, etc– ideally luncheons or tea-parties up to late afternoon/early evening, as the weather in Sintra is not usually suitable for outside dinner parties. Please also be so kind as to mind that we can only accept celebrations in the garden from May 1st until August 31st.

This price includes the garden setting with 3 tables seating 24 people comfortably, one extra table for another 6 people, 2 buffet tables and 1 barbecue area, chairs and table towels.

We know excellent catering companies and also a private chef service we can recommend to you, which you will pay directly apart from our accommodation fee, and who will also bring all tableware, cutlery and decoration of your choice to your party.

We also know some talented musicians we can recommend to liven up your celebration!
