Dock of The Bay #204 - Oregon Beach Vacations

Dock of the Bay #204 is located at the south end of Lincoln City in the Taft District right on the Siletz Bay. This is a great area to explore the quaint little shops, glass-blowing stores, and some great family-friendly restaurants. This two-bedroom, two-bath condo will accommodate four people, with two queen beds. One bathroom has a walk-in shower while the other is a tub and shower combo. This condo offers cable TV, and a DVD player. This is a second-floor condo. The bay front views right off of your private deck will allow you to daydream and let your stress float away on the breeze. If you look slightly to the right, you'll see where the mouth of the Pacific Ocean comes into the bay. The beach and bay access is right outside the complex, and if you're feeling up to it, you can walk the entire seven-mile shoreline to the north end of Lincoln City. Lovely beach getaway

Great condo, well appointed and nicely decorated. Our bed was comfy. The kitchen had the basics you need. Nice little fireplace for prestologs. The view is wonderful! I enjoyed being on the bay even more than a normal oceanfront rental...the tidal changes and wildlife in the bay provided endless entertainment. Ducks and sandpipers everywhere, and lots of harbor seal antics you could look at while hanging out on the couch. A bird-watchers dream location. Great communication with host - we had a hiccup with the entry code and they helped us right away. Loved the location - in a quiet little community yet easy 1-block walk to coffeeshops, public beach, restaurants, grocery, and even a weekend market. We had our choice of walking to the ocean itself via a couple-block paved walk or along the sand right in front of our condo. We brought kayaks and were able to launch right from the property. Would totally stay here again.

Great location

Nice living room space for the 4 of us to hang out. Was originally given the wrong access code but was able to communicate quickly with management. View of the bay was gorgeous. Condo was very clean. Walked to Mo's and the food cart pod across the street. Was a nice 2 night stay.

The property was easy to find and quiet. They had a lot things in the kitchen to make cooking easy. Lots of space to spread out. The only disappointment is the deck was covered in bird poop so we couldnā€™t use it.

Excellent location and easy parking. No elevator, but only one flight of stairs. Nice to have a full kitchen and laundry. Property needs a little love. No light bulb in the main bedroom and outlets are extremely loose (plug fall out). Electric fireplace in bedroom didnā€™t work and no wood for wood fireplace. A little tight in kitchen and bathrooms, but you are really paying for the spot right on the beach, which was very convenient.

Great location

This is a great location and has a wonderful view of the bay. It is waterfront, but there is no surf so you shouldnā€™t expect the ocean noise. The patio was screened in due to a problem with pigeons. Spending any time on the patio felt dirty due to the bird mess. The owners try to address the issue, but it clearly is an ongoing problem. The condo is clean with two full bathrooms. Well stocked and comfortable.

Quiet get away

Weā€™ll stocked and nice view. Beautiful art work with beach theme. Close to MOā€™s and beach. Only down was our deck was totally unusable due to pigeons and pooh all over windows and sitting area.

Sadly, outdoor space was horrible.

Oregon coast property with fabulous view of Siletz Bay. Unfortunately our deck had been taken over by pigeons and the deck was unusable. Pigeons nesting, pooping, dominating the deck. Deck chairs that were already filthy were covered with pigeon poo. Additionally the deck floor had not been maintained and was writing in spots. Sad, because the location was wonderful but we were confined to the inside.

Dirty, the oven cook top doesn't seem to work.

Good location, nice view. Furniture is very worn and taped up. Oven cook top doesn't work very well. Seems to work sometimes And other times doesn't get hot enough to cook anything.

The property looks the same as listed! The views and access to the beach are great. The space in the condo is good. One negative was the master toilet continually running even after being fixed and there could have been more thorough dusting; the furniture is well worn. I would stay there again!

We celebrated my brother's 50th birthday at this beautiful condo. Our condo was clean, quiet and close to everything we needed. The weather was blustery and wet but perfect for games, birthday cake and family time. We enjoyed this rental and will definitely come back!

Great location, but not very clean

Condo was 2nd floor condo on Siletz Bay. However, the condo was dirty when we arrived (after the check-in time), and we had to wait 2+ hours for them to clean again, and it was still not very clean, which was concerning in the age of COVID, especially since I had emailed them in advance about their COVID procedures. Great place, but housekeeping staff needs to really improve.

Overall a great location. Property a little dirty and some broken and dirty furniture. Watched the seals play in the bay. Eagles and herons. Quick easy walk to the ocean. Ocean view. Comfortable beds. Handy little kitchen.

Great replacement rental

We had booked a Dock of the bay condo, we were notified the day before check in the complex was closed for a water repair, unavoidable for them...if we'd left when we'd planned we would have been in a world of hurt...while they were helpful in finding a replacement, I didn't feel they cared much (never had this problem before, I'm sure they were uneasy about it as well..) .the agreement is solid, so we had to take what was offered, thankfully our kids were very happy with it, but I would have liked a comparable beach front after 3 years of trying coordinate schedules to get this vaca planned with my daughter ,and that option was very important to us...all in all the rental was very nice, and for someone who can walk the hill, it's close access to the beach...they did what they could for us, and we will still continue to use them, this has been the only glitch in many years of using OBV...the little house on 37th is adorable, the set up in this house is fantastic, (I'd buy it if it came on the market!) cobwebs were my only complaint, and they were very helpful with check out questions had. We had a great time, and hopefully will be able to repeat soon with our kids but beach front. Thank you for helping getting us a replacement rental, and we really do understand things happen.

Wonderful Condo On the Beach

This condo worked out well for our family of 4. We loved the convenience of being right on the beach and on a quiet street. The unit had what we needed for our short stay. The only issue was that the master shower didn't work, so we just shared the 2nd shower with the kids. No big deal. Overall, we would recommend Dock of the Bay #204 and would stay there again.
