"Great pub/hotel/bistro in a beautiful peaceful village. Staff were extremely helpful. We had a wedding with so needed an early check-in and late return. Both were accommodated for. Room was clean, fresh. Continental breakfast was included in price. We also paid extra for cooked b/fast. Very nice freshly cooked, hot, good quality products. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend the Star Inn and stay there again. Or even go for a nice meal. Give it a go ! "

"I have been here a few times now and they have never let me down with either the rooms or the helpfulness of the staff,and this visit was no different ,i nearly missed my breakfast but the lady who was dealing with the breakfast today went above and beyond and sorted me right out with getting me a full english breakfast done ,evrn after the cut off time,many thanks to her"

"Stayed one night and enjoyed it very much. The room was nice and clean and very functional. We enjoyed a light meal in the evening and the breakfast was well presented. We thought it very good value."

"Everything was amazing, the food the room and the service. One very minor flaw. On our second and last morning I didn't fancy another of the pubs excellent full English breakfast so asked for porridges and a sausage bap. I was told that I was only allowed one item off the menu even though I feel the cost of my preference was less. The waiter offered to go and enquire if my request could be granted but I refused his offer saying I would go for the full breakfast which he said "was probably best""
