The lovely surrounding beauty can be admired from the hammock on the charming stone veranda where you’ll be able to watch boats gently bobbing across the sparkling sea waters. The sheltered veranda also features a quaint seating area and bright red sun loungers. You will love looking out over the scenery which includes Nydri, Vlycho bay and the islands of Scorpios, Meganisi and Atokos from the garden’s private pool.

An exterior dining area makes for beautiful al fresco dinners amongst the garden’s spectacular olive and indigenous trees. Dinners enjoyed inside will also boast wonderful views as plenty of windows and glass doors provide vistas over the garden and wider surrounding nature.

The home’s interior benefits from a minimalist design and is bright and airy with plenty of modern features to ensure ultimate comfort for guests. The home possesses cosy sofa chairs, a fully-equipped kitchen and comfy beds.

All three bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms and a twin bedroom provides a great place for kids who wish to share a room.

Location:

Villa Waterfall lies close by the bustling town of Nydri and a five-minute drive to the village’s centre will lead you to the start of the walk to Nydri Waterfalls. After parking, make your way down the 350m road and you will discover the gorgeous and vibrant waterfalls. The falls are especially magical during the springtime and give off a beautiful mist as the water drops into the lake. If you’re feeling particularly adventurous, there is the opportunity to swim amongst the striking rocks that the waterfall runs on.

Lefkada Earth Winery is a wonderful wine cellar located on the island of Lefkada. The winery is an intriguing and informative centre founded in 2000 by Dimitris Rombotis. Guests can go on a free tour around the cellar and be introduced to the local grape varieties of Vardea and Vertzami. The former variety creates ‘Lefkadian Land White.’ a dry white wine native to the island.

During the tour, you will be able to sample this delicious wine as well as many others with the option of purchasing a bottle before you head home. You will discover the time-honoured winemaking process as well as visit the small museum featuring equipment used to make wine in the past – even though this is a relatively new winery.
