"An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months"

"Lovely little gem with comfortable rooms and a fantastic shower. It was a little bit noisy having the window facing the garden Pub but it closed at a reasonable hour!"

"The Blue Lion is ideally situated for a stop over when making a long journey to Cornwall. The room was well equipped and comfortable. There is some traffic noise from the road, but that did not spoil our one night stay. The staff were welcoming and the locals were friendly. The evening meal was excellent. I would stay here again if travelling in this area."

"We spent 2 night here while sight seeing around Cornwall. We found it quite central to the places we visited. The warm and welcoming staff made our stay comfortable and relaxing. After a day of sightseeing and going back to a good meal completed our day. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I loved the garden. "Location is superb right by harbor.. lots of narrow small stairs to our room on 3rd floor in roof. Room was airless even with windows open… breakfast was great however supervisor was pretty unfriendly and basically kicked us out right at 10am… don’t expect any frills…"

"The cobblestone parking was slightly challenging, and we weren’t expecting to be in a separate building from the inn, but the room was very comfortable and the large window had a great view which brightened up the space. The location was perfect, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. We appreciated that breakfast was included."
