This hotel was very disappointing as it was nothing like our expectation, despite the many positive reviews. First, the room was incredibly small, like dorm room small. No desk for work (yes, still have to work on vacation). Small table with two metal chairs was only workspace. NO drawers or space for clothes other than bookshelf stuffed into tiny closet. NO vanity space for toiletries in bathroom other than toilet bowl and small 2x4 wooden shelf. Our view was the closed "pool", which was the size of a hot tub. Staff was not present (like nowhere in the building) when we went to ask a question about 2:00pm in the afternoon one day. No accessible ice machine unless staff is present (which they aren't after hours or at 2:00pm in the afternoon) Since we paid in advance on expedia, we ate the expense and moved to Harrah's after the second day. Simply inadequate facility for couple staying 5 days. Also, wiped up small water spill on laminate or wood-like floor and towel was blackened by the soot or huge amount of dirt that wasn't visible if not for wiping up water on the floor. Chairs in common area (outdoor dining) were dirty and some were unstable. Window unit AC did work well and was only positive note. Nice, 2-bath, roomy, clean and non-smoking room at Harrah's was worth the additional money we spent to be comfortable for the last three days of our stay.
