LAKE LURE WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR RECREATIONAL BOATING, FISHING, OR SWIMMING IN THE 2025 SEASON. Although the lake is closed and lowered while Hurricane Helene cleanup continues, there is much that our beautiful foothills area has to offer. LAKE ADGER, SHUMONT LAKE, LAKE LANIER, and MIRROR LAKE suffered no damage, so homes and those lakes are available. BALD MOUNTAIN LAKE in the resort is open and beautiful. We are welcoming guests in over 60 beautiful homes to use as a "home base" for visiting nearby towns, restaurants, shops, hiking areas, and seasonal special events in Lake Lure, Hendersonville, Asheville, Black Mountain, Saluda, and Tryon. Golf is open to the public at Rumbling Bald, and local area wineries, breweries, trails, and music are within an hour's drive. Many of the Chimney Rock shops are set up at the Tryon International Equestrian Center Pavilion. Chimney Rock Park is now open!

The home is only 10 minutes from Lake Lure Beach and Chimney Rock. Many Lake Lure water sports rental options and pontoon boat tours exist. Chimney Rock State Park and Village are worth visiting. The park was rated a Blue Ridge Mountain favorite, and there are unique shops and plenty of restaurants. The fully equipped kitchen has the conveniences of a home: dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, dinnerware, cookware, and utensils. All you need are groceries, and there is an Ingles Market, a five (5) minute drive from the home! Dine in or enjoy your meal on the deck overlooking the river.

AREA WIDE NOTICE: Lake Lure will undergo a drawdown from January 1st, 2025, through the first quarter of 2025(March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet have been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. For more information, click here. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. This will not affect the smaller lakes in the area, only Lake Lure itself.
Smoking is prohibited in all of our vacation rental homes.
Dogs (up to 2) are welcome in this home. Guests are required to clean up after their pets to avoid additional charges.
Parking for multiple vehicles at the home, but only two (2) vehicles are allowed inside the gated portion of Riverbend at Lake Lure.
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. local time or anytime later.
Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time or anytime earlier.
NOTICE: CANOE is temporarily stored at the cabin instead of being next to the lake. The community has required us to move them to the homes until they have built a new location for storage down by the lake.
