Great Smokey Mountain National Park has access points in 3 directions (25 min, 45 min, and 55 min). Cataloochee Ski lodge and tubing is 10 min. away in Maggie Valley. Also easy access to Blueridge National Park and Pisqah National Forrest. Asheville is 30 min away.

Lake Junaluska is a conference center of the United Methodist Church. Great walking trails and beautiful gardens are located at Lake Junaluska. We have multiple breweries in the county as well as wonderful family owned restaurants. There are 3 grocery stores within a 5 min. drive.

This house has been my family vacation home since 1975. It was built in 1917. The cottage has all the charm of a home built in 1975. Be aware, that you can tell when you walk in that it was built in 1975. The "hardwood" floors are the true hardwood boards that were put down in 1917.
