Take a Break at our Lakeshore Getaway

Welcome to the Lakeshore Getaway, located in the prestigious North Shore Estates in Lake Cowichan. This 3 bedroom newly built contemporary home is designed for lakeside living, enjoyment, relaxation & entertaining. The space accommodates up to 8 guests & offers a lifestyle to be experienced. Your getaway includes exclusive access to a private beach, dock, & marina. The waterfront is only a minute walk from the house. Enjoy swimming, tubing & boating activities with family & friends.

Attention All Guests: The house is available for longer term stays during the off season, please contact us for available dates and rates.

I look forward to hosting you at the Lakeshore Vacation Getaway, just a short one minute walk away from the private waterfront, exclusive to guests and residents of the North Shore Estates. This ideal waterfront space includes a private beach with picnic tables and restrooms. The Kaatza Marina features a private dock and boat slips ($400 for use of boat dock). The Marina also offers paddle boats, canoe, and kayak, sea-doo and pontoon boat rentals and also wakeboard/wake surf lessons.


There is a walking trail at the front of the house that leads up to the highway, making this home walking distance to the Lake Town Amphitheater where Sunfest and other concerts take place.

This family friendly getaway can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests.

This beautiful contemporary lake home has large windows that fill the space with natural light and warmth. The house is professionally styled with modern furniture and decor inspired by the warm rich colours of the natural surroundings.

The home boasts an open concept layout that's perfect for gathering with friends and family. The kitchen, living room, and dining room flow seamlessly together making the space the perfect place to spend time together and create new memories.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped to cook and share meals together. The kitchen features standard size appliances including a microwave and dishwasher. The dining room offers a designated eating area with additional seating at the kitchen island. These spaces can also double as a work space for any guest working mobile.

The outdoor patio and BBQ are located just off the dining room, creating an indoor - outdoor living space.

The living room features a modern sectional couch that will seat all 8 guests! Enjoy a fun filled evening in the living room, watching a movie and enjoying the ambience of the fireplace.

The master bedroom is fitted with a king bed and has a private ensuite bathroom that features heated floors and a glass enclosed shower. The two additional bedrooms are both fitted with queen beds and share the full bathroom located in the hallway. This bathroom includes a tub/shower combo. The beds are dressed in quality sheets and linens. All bedrooms have ample closet and storage space.

The upstairs recreational room also doubles as a family room and features a large oversized couch, Smart TV, pool table and a built-in bar to set up refreshments and snacks. The couch is a queen pull-out-bed and sleeps 2 people. The third bathroom is located on this floor.

Guests are welcome to use the washer/dryer and complimentary laundry detergent during their stay.

We invite you to come and take a break, whether you want to take a break at the beach, take a break from life, take a break on the pool table!

Guests are welcome to bring their bicycles, paddle boards, paddle boat(s) kayaks(s) canoe(s), fishing rods, and enjoy other water activities such as tubing and water skiing.

Boats can be launched at the Marina or boat ramp next to the Weir Tower. Tubing on Cowichan Lake is a popular summertime activity, tubes can be rented at Tube Shack in the village. In the village you will find pubs, restaurants, a bakery, grocery store, hardware store, pharmacy, post office, coffee shops, liquor store, and artisan boutiques.

Guests will use a keyless entry system for self check-in and check-out.

Guests will receive a customized door code prior to check-in.

Guests park in the driveway or on the gravel patch at the front of the house. There is parking for 4 vehicles maximum. No parking on the street or in front of the neighbours homes.

This rental is managed by a vacation home property management company.

Guests will correspond with a member from the guest services team through their booking channel.

Amazing house on the lake

We really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. It was brand new looking and the beds and linens were extra comfy. I’ve also never seen a kitchen for a rental that stocked, it was great! I originally booked it based on the pin location. It wasn’t accurate as it was on the other side of the lake but it actually turned out to be better for us anyways. It has access to a private dock for the houses there and there’s also a rental place there that you can rent boats, jet skis, kayaks and paddle boards which is what we ended up doing and it was a highlight for us! Would definitely come back and recommend staying here.
