Poipu Shores 104C is a fully-oceanfront, 2-story townhome with two lanais and complete air conditioning. A fully oceanfront townhome is a rarity on the south shore of Kauai, doubly so for an air conditioned one! It is an exquisite choice for an unforgettable tropical getaway thanks to the walk-out lawn that overlooks the rocky coast below and the upstairs lanai that offers the perfect vista for dramatic sunsets.

Measuring in at over 1200 square feet, youā€™ll have plenty of plenty of space to enjoy after a day at the beach or hiking in Waimea Canyon. Likewise, the heated pool that is perched right atop the rocky sea cliff is the perfect spot for close-by swimming and lounging. Itā€™s also an excellent space to get some work done from, thanks to the desk and several seating options for anyone bringing their laptop along with them. (The complementary Wi-Fi is also perfectly suited to hosting Zoom meetings, streaming shows, or looking up new adventure ideas.) No matter what the nature of your stay, youā€™ll feel right at home in the tropics, settling among the tasteful dĆ©cor and superb craftsmanship of the interior.

The main bedroom above enjoys a once-in-a-lifetime oceanfront view to accompany a perfect conclusion to a perfect day. The upstairs lanai opens out onto Kauaiā€™s beautiful south shore, where picturesque sunrises and sunsets will be yours to behold. Down the hall is the guest bedroom, which features its own en suite full bathroom with stone-floored shower. (Both upstairs bathrooms are newly remodeled.) Amber sconces set a beautiful and serene environment for this lovely room. Downstairs, youā€™ll find the fully equipped kitchen, replete with granite counters and koa wood cabinets, that opens onto the spacious living room. This luxurious town home will be a relaxing and welcoming taste of island living!

When youā€™re ready to head to world famous Poipu Beach, youā€™ll be provided with beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers for a beautiful day in the waves. Poipu Beach Park itself is a five-minute walk away Poipu Shores, and youā€™ll love the oceanfront path that leads from the complex to the beach. Along the way, youā€™ll see the bodysurfers at Brenneckeā€™s Beach, get some snorkel gear at Nukumoi Surf Shop, grab some shave or lunch at the restaurant next door, and finally see all the sea life in the water. Back home, youā€™ll have all the amenities 104C offers to complete another perfect day.

Fantastic 11 Days!

Ready to fall asleep and wake up with the sound of surf against the rocks? Poipu can get crowded, but this place does not feel congested at all! Beautiful pool as well.

This is a beautiful property with great sights and sounds of the waves crashing on the lava rocks as well as watching the turtles swim nearby. The only negative was the confusion of the missing remotes for the upstairs air conditioners.

Property was a beautiful location for an enjoyable visit to Kauai. Renters with mobility issues should be aware of the periodic parking challenges, distance from parking to unit (toting luggage and groceries), lack of stairs to bedrooms, and stairs to the pool. And while the views from the lanai are spectacular, for those who prefer shade to sun, there is nonstop sun on the lanai from sunrise to sunset. And from a safety perspective, it would be helpful to have a hand grip in the showers and a hand rail for the three steps from the entry hallway to the kitchen and living room.

Wonderful stay!

We had such a great time here! Great location with a beautiful 5 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of space with a full bath in each upstairs bedroom and another half bath downstairs. Beautifully furnished and very clean and well stocked with necessities. Absolutely stunning views from the walk out ground floor patio. I hope we can go back sometime.

Perfect for a family vacation

The 2 bed / 2 bath condo had plenty of space for two couples with lovely ocean views from the primary suite & living room. The unit was well stocked with all the necessities (towels, beach chairs, toiletries and kitchen spices etc). We enjoyed the seeing humpbacks, hearing the sounds of the waves, and the coolness of fresh ocean breezes from the lanai.

Perfect location

This is the perfect location to walk to poipu beach in the mornings to see the turtles. Clean condo stocked with all the necessities. Quiet and peaceful condo complex. Condo owners get back to you right away if you have any questions.

Right on the water

This location is beautiful, clean, and well-located. We slept to the sound of roaring waves, and everything in Poipu and the south shore of Kauai was close and easily accessible. The kitchen has everything you could need (like a coffee grinder to grind your coffee beans or a washing machine to clean your towels), and the pool is likewise right on the ocean cliffs, granting you sublime views of the water and sunset. Everything is clean and well maintained and organized. Only thing that could be better is the TV in the upstairs bedroom has an issue with its display (it's ok-the downstairs tv is bigger and better and you shouldn't be watching tv on vacation anyway). The property manager also never replied to my email asking where the laundry detergent was, but we eventually found it anyways. Would recommend, and would return. Thank you.

Beautiful ocean view!!

First timers to this island. Parker made sure I was informed about everything before our arrival. His communication is 5 stars. We loved the condo instantly, the view, wow what can you say but incredible! I saw a whale and pods of dolphins right out the window! Sea turtles constantly swimming in the tide right in front of you! The waves crashing into the rocks, with huge spray was so cool! Poipu beach is a 10 minute walk away. Nicely stocked kitchen, enough paper towels and toilet paper for our entire stay. Beach chairs and towels to use. Pool is really nice, used it a few times. Beds are comfy and everything worked well (all appliances) The AC was good, plenty of towels. I loved staying here. We had neighbors on both sides of us and really couldn't hear them talking unless they were outside on their patio which is right next to ours without much privacy to divide them. We were pleased with our stay at Poipu Shores and definitely would come again. The only thing I would recommend is a designated parking spot for each condo. I think it would be so much easier!

In the day of check in we received notice that there was an issue with our oven and the lower a/c unit. They said not to worry all would be fixed in a day or so. We got this specific unit as I have bad arthritis and the humidity is harsh to me. On the day before checkout we were told it wouldnā€™t be fixed before we left. We werenā€™t offered any other accommodations or anything for our inconvenience. When we mentioned how important A/c was in messages to the host there was no reply. Overall the place was nice. Fairly clean. Wonderful view of the turtles. But I was uncomfortable and limited in where I could spend time due to this issue. I wish they would have been more accommodating.

This was a spectacular view- surfers, turtles, whales. Worked fine for the family, albeit a little crowded with just one bedroom , two adults and two little boys. But everyone was very happy with it . Only problem- it is an adult pool and so you might not be happy there with kids who could not swim well. Certainly toddlers could be a problem with safety at the pool- but the waters edge of sand was an easy place to be with supervision.

Great location

Loved hearing the ocean waves all night, having breakfasts and sunset drinks on the back patio, and being able to walk to Poipu beach. (Note, you can't swim in the ocean directly outside the unit; not an issue for us but just FYI.) Having the laundry machines in the unit was terrific, and, although parking spots are narrow, we were always able to find a spot even though it was Christmas week and crowded making parking everywhere else a pain. The beds were comfortable. The location of the unit is terrific, and we loved having the beach towels and beach chairs. We were surprised and disappointed to find that the walls of the bedrooms and bathrooms do not go all the way up; there are openings at the top of each wall so that there is no privacy; we could hear each other use bathrooms, talk on phones, etc. (We could also hear the neighbors next door talk when we were trying to sleep in the morning but I think that was just one particularly loud neighbor.) We also had a little bit of bad luck in that the pool heater was on the fritz so we never found it warm enough to use. But other than that, the home was as advertised and well-cleaned. Parker was responsive and helpful. Other reviewers had talked about the lock being broken on the downstairs sliding glass door, but I agree with Parker that the use of a pipe to block the door from being able to be opened makes that not an issue in terms of security. We felt totally safe in the unit.
