"Perfect quiet spot with green, relaxing surroundings and a very friendly host family"

"My stay at the AWA was wonderful. We had a room overlooking the beach with beautiful view. Hotel has a great pool and beach space. Spa is top notch, best Thai massage overlooking the ocean. We were surprised by a nice NYE party, as not all hotels in the island offer one. We were overall very pleased with our stay. "

"Disappointing. This is a spacious gated resort. The Marina Hotel is a 4 storey building at one edge. A shuttle service is necessary to get to the restaurant and activity areas which are about 2Km away These shuttle vehicles must be summoned by phone. These vehicles are high and awkward. I am 70 and could not manage the steps up. If you are over 30 and even slightly heavy you will struggle. Shuttle buses only operate within the resort. Taxis are expensive and not always reliable at night. In the...

"Beautiful pool villa, wonderful resort, and very helpful and nice people. Whenever we are in Koh Chang, we will definitely book the pool villa again! 10/10 experience"

"Top 5 hotel in the world. Amazing staff, amazing restaurant food and the surroundings were amazing. Rentals on point. We will be back. Quiet and secluded. Just what you need to relax."

"My stay was lovely, really liked the island and the hotel. Very comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast was nice and simple. I did think the food in the hotel was a bit too expensive (like a la carte menu) and not as nice as it could be and was a bit annoying that they dont let us take the food into the bedroom. The beach was also very nice."

"Veldig bra"

"Great Resort. Wonderful staff. Well managed. Good food. Have stayed here many times and can't wait to return"

"The resort overall was excellent. Rooms were big ,but a lttle basic. Our only gripe-checking in was slow ."

"Ok room. Restaurant quality not good.. terrible food."

"If you are looking for an island vacation away from the crowds and traffic, Koh Kood is great and Shantaa is a great place to stay. Rooms are luxurious with private open air bathrooms, and a great restaurant. Swim in the pool or ocean right off the hotel grounds. Staff are kind and friendly."
