"Viajámos no meio de dezembro/18 e ao escolher o quarto optámos por pagar mais e ficar num quarto em promoção com piscina privada. Quando chegámos ao hotel percebemos porquê, o edificio onde ficava o quarto estava em obras, estando apenas parte dele disponivel. FIcámos instalados num 3º andar sem elevador e com obras a decorrer das 8h às 17h mesmo ao lado do quarto. Demonstrámos desagrado no check in mas disseram estar cheios e não houve muito a fazer (a opção era ir para um quarto ainda mais...

"My stay was lovely, really liked the island and the hotel. Very comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast was nice and simple. I did think the food in the hotel was a bit too expensive (like a la carte menu) and not as nice as it could be and was a bit annoying that they dont let us take the food into the bedroom. The beach was also very nice."

"My stay at the AWA was wonderful. We had a room overlooking the beach with beautiful view. Hotel has a great pool and beach space. Spa is top notch, best Thai massage overlooking the ocean. We were surprised by a nice NYE party, as not all hotels in the island offer one. We were overall very pleased with our stay. "

"The villa with the pool was clean! The room is large but in my opinion very overpriced. We took the pool room as there wasn’t anything else available. Nice sunset but you can get that anywhere on the property. The downfall of the pool is lots of mosquitoes around from dusk-dawn. "

"It was a clean and very spacious room . The bathroom and shower was also very spacious and clean. There was no hair dryer but thats ok as the weather was so warm it wasnt long before my hair dried anyway. There was no kettle. But they did provide breakfast in the morning which was nice. There was a choice of 3 pools. The sound of nature around was beautiful. And there was lots to do in the area. The walk to the beach wasn't long at all. The staff are all so lovely and welcoming. "Beautiful location with an exclusive feel. Bungalow 5 offered a fantastic vista. Everybody working on site was happy, welcoming and friendly (including Coco, Oreo, Lazy and Day the dogs (maybe that's just Thailand)). The breakfast was lovely, fluffiest pancakes I've ever had! Good value scooter rental to easily explore the small, quiet, beautiful island. Thank you everybody at Lazy Day. 🙏Khop Khun Khrap🙏"

"For me it was always the beach. The cottages and amenities were worn out and old! The beach was great. Compared to alot of other locales on Koh Chang it was peaceful and the beach was clear of rocks. The food was okay."
