Duck Diamond - Sanderling, Ocean View, 95 Yds to Beach, Hot Tub, Sauna, Community Pool

Experience the best of Duck at Duck Diamond, located in the picturesque Sanderling Community. Features furnishings from Restoration Hardware including an English Trestle table that sits 12 and dramatic RH chandeliers. Updated bathrooms throughout including rain showers with RH vanities.

To help ensure your time is enjoyed the house is equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, beach cruiser bicycles, corn hole, ping pong table, and plenty of board games and books. Guests can enjoy the private community pool which overlooks the Currituck Sound, tennis (for a fee), sound boat access and more. An extra-large cart is included making trips to the beach a breeze.

After the day of fun in the sun, it's time to relax in the sauna, or Jacuzzi to revitalize you from the day's activities. There will be no arguments over bedrooms with three primary suites with private bathrooms. Bathrooms have marble tile flooring, tiled showers, glass enclosures and rain shower heads. The 4th bath has a tub with tile to the ceiling. Hotel quality sheets and large towels are provided. All you need to bring is your clothes and toothbrushes. Even the beds are made prior to your arrival. For the fisherman in the family, there is a fish cleaning table with sink to prepare the day's catch. For the chefs there is a fully stocked kitchen. Extra food and beverages, no problem, the house comes with 2 refrigerators.

Duck Diamond has a 65" Samsung Smart LED 4K Ultra High-Definition TV with Bose sound system featuring Bluetooth connectivity & two 42" LCD's with HD cable for your entertainment pleasures. The 50" Samsung HDTV in the bunk bedroom is connected to the WiFi and a PlayStation 4 gaming system. Hammock on the lower deck to simply read a book or getaway and take an afternoon nap. Top floor has as a screened in porch with ample seating.

Beautiful home! Very clean and well appointed. Had everything we needed. Quiet and private neighborhood. Beach is beautiful and not crowded, private to the neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Relaxing stay in Duck in a house that has it all!

Reviewer Comments: We (wife, pre-school-aged child, and I) stayed in Duck Diamond for a week in September and we loved it so much, our daughter didn't want to leave and now wants to go back. The interior of the property is very well-maintained and cared for by the owner, and it shows. In a nutshell - beautiful property with close beach access in a quiet, pretty neighborhood and plenty of activities in the house. Property was just as shown in pictures, but outdoor areas needed a deeper clean. A few pros and cons for potential renters: Pros:- only a few houses down from the beach--about a two minute walk to the steps that take you the beach. BUT, due to the dunes, you have to go up and then down a good amount of steps, so just be warned in terms of hauling beach supplies. I don't think this is specific to this property. - in a residential neighborhood in Sanderling, so it was a very quiet and exclusive-feeling neighborhood- while not walking distance to Duck's shops and restaurants, you could bike there and it is halfway between downtown Duck and Corolla, which is nice. Closest grocery is Harris Teeter in Corolla.- very well-maintained and updated interiors--bathrooms, floors, kitchens, TVs, etc. Just beautiful. daughter loved the little elephant chairs in kids' room. - Nice outdoor decks with partial ocean views- Great activities - cornhole, beach umbrellas, beach toys, bikes, etc.Cons: - house backs up to the main road (NC 12), and there were a lot of trucks/4x4s. it didn't disturb us, but you can definitely hear. - outside areas, when inspected immediately upon arrival, were full of spiderwebs and critters, which resulted in them being unusable (especially the screened deck, which we had hoped to use). Property company did send out someone to clean it but that was 4 days into our trip and right before we got cold, rainy weather. Would definitely recommend, though, and look forward to another visit.

It is obvious the owners are very engaged in the property and take great care of it - this is the first house where I actually saw irrigation for the decorative plants, for example. And hey... a sauna! You don't get that level of indulgence everyday.

Location is exceptional - shopping, grocery and restaurants are within a 5 min drive in either direction. The neighborhood is quiet and beach access is so convenient. I loved that the owner rang the house to make sure we were settled in and to make sure we wanted for nothing..lovely touch We had such a good time that everyone agreed we wanted to make Belinakill a summer tradition absolutely superb!

The beach was great, the house had everything we needed and was the perfect distance from the beach and pool. The highway traffic moves slowly so the bikes are a necessity. For us it was better to be within walking distance to the pool and biking distance to town. The location was ideal!

NC Beach and Balinakill Review

Overall we very happy with the house with the exception of the following: the locks on the lower door need to be replaced; we had a tough time getting into the house because the key would not work and had to return to the rental office for another key. We finally got in and the rental company stated they would have it repaired but that never happened. Secondly, downstairs shower had a broken door which was not repaired.

The Perfect Family Getaway!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just loved this beautiful home - Balinakill!!! We couldn't have hoped for a better home for our first visit to the Outer Banks. This perfectly located , tastefully decorated, excellent home has all the amenities for everyone in the family.......a beautiful, bright & airy living room for everyone to get together, a gourmet kitchen with every kitchen essential & more complete with cookware, silverware, glassware & dinnerware - a Chef / Cook 's dream kitchen!!! It has five very creatively themed bedrooms. There is a spacious & relaxing Hot Tub and also a soothing Sauna Room and even a Hammock and a hammock swing. There is even a great selection of books on the bookshelves with a cute little reading bench and of course there is unlimited reading opportunity in the deck chairs on the wrap around deck on the upper level as well as the deck on the middle level. If all this is not enough then there is also a breakfast room/Sun room on the top level alongwith having a big dining room. There is covered parking and showers outside for cleaning up after the trip to the beach. The additional icing on the cake is that the Beach is within a 2-3 min walking distance and if you are looking for water sports, the Sound is just across the road. Any photographers should make sure you have your cameras......we got amazing shots of the Sunrise & the Sunset! Also we saw Dolphins in the water if you are at the beach between 6am to 6:30 am. The town of Duck is very cute & quaint & has a lot of interesting things to do and also there is shopping in the form of Harris Teeter & the Food Lion, though we loved Harris Teeter!!ALL IN ALL WE HAD A MEMORABLE , MAGNIFICENT & RELAXING WEEK......WE SURE WISHED WE WERE STAYING LONGER AND WILL DEFINITELY WANT TO GO BACK TO BALINAKILL!!!

Wonderful Sanderling Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always rent in Sanderling and this house is simply wonderful. It is beautiful inside. We made such fun and special memories and amazing dinners here! The bathrooms especially are impeccably updated. We loved having access to the bikes, chairs, and wagon in the garage, which not many homeowners offer for their renters. The hot tub was a nice treat as well. They even have outdoor flower pots that are self-watered. There are also hammocks and swings on the lower deck that the kids just adored. These homeowners care a great deal about their home and it shows. Only issues we had were the freezer in the kitchen would leak onto the kitchen floor here and there, and the mattresses could use updating as well, but absolutely would recommend this house and will return!

Home at the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my family’s fourth stay at Duck Diamond, needless to say we are pleased with this house. The kitchen is well equipped and this property is all around clean and well maintained. Bikes and beach equipment is provided. Location is great, only one hundred of my steps to the beach access. Sanderling neighborhoods are the best on the banks. The owner called to see if all was good. We will return.

Family Beach Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great family visit to this home in the Sanderling. I felt like I was in a Restoration Hardware catalog! It has so many nice upgrades and comes equipped with everything! We really didn't need to bring a thing for the beach ... bikes, chairs, umbrellas, wagon, corn hole, games, kites ... There were 3 refrigerators, all of the bathrooms are over the top, a nice area on the second floor for the kids to hang out, a large hot tub, lots of parking, and it was close to the beach and with a water wash for your feet and outdoor shower! It was a perfect house for our family and I know we will come back. We were concerned that we would miss a pool, but we took advantage of the beach and the community pool is within biking distance. It is close to the road but you really don't hear any traffic unless on the back porch and we didn't spend much time there! It is close to Duck but far away from crowds and on a sweet cul de sac! We really enjoyed this house!

Great week on the beach

We loved the place and had a great week. The house is beautiful and has tons of space for the 4 adults and 4 kids we brought. Easy, short walk to and from the beach and all the chairs and cart made it easy and relaxing. Would love to do it again some time.

It has everything that you need to have a great family beach vacation. Wonderfully stocked kitchen and garage for beach enjoyment. Will stay again!! Incredibly close to the beach- we enjoyed evening walks with ease and provided wagon helped set us up during the day.

Relaxing with no detail forgotten...

It was fantastic and relaxing! Very clean and attentive property managers. We loved our location and time there. Easy walk to the beach every day Thanks for everything!
