"The hotel was well located and check-in was easy enough in the pub next door, if a little slow. The location was quiet too. We were above the main entrance to the hotel and did have the noise and vibration of the door shutting but it wasn't that bad. It is within walking distance of shopping centres and supermarkets which was really convenient. There was plenty of free parking. It felt secure as the access was locked anyone without a room key. "Loved our stay. Bed was soooo good. Breakfast was excellent, A la carte . Only downside is there is no lift to get to the rooms, just stairs."

"As soon as we entered the room and opened the bathroom door there was an awful smell of wet dirty rag and the floor was wet. A member of staff offered to apply some airfreshner which did not solve the problem at all, it just hid it for a while. I think it was the bathtub drain. Remote controls were sticky and they wiped them after requested. Another member of staff said the manager could talk to us on checkout and give us a discount which makes me believe they know there's something wrong with...

"Fantastic property. The room was absolutely spotless, probably the cleanest hotel room I have ever seen. The staff were very nice, and the area around the hotel was quiet and safe. I would stay again in a heartbeat."
