Great farmhouse experience

House was very clean and well stocked. Refrigerator ice/ water wasnā€™t working and said temporarily out of order. True farmhouse with no A/C and only a large but loud whole house fan. Not the best on ninety degree days during the day but nights cooled down enough to be tolerable. We were gone during the heat of the day so hard to relate at that time. Brought fishing poles for the grandkids but pond had so much algae that the fish were dying and it didnā€™t smell very well. Several dead fish floating on the surface. Couldnā€™t toss a line in without catching a bunch of pond scum that prevented anything to find your hook. Cows making daily travels between pastures were a hoot! Overall a good experience that would have been great with available A/C and cleaned up pond.

Farm in the woods

This was a great family getaway spot. It was away from the hectic city and quiet. The only diversion was the occasional visit from the cows and the were wonderful. These wer very nice accommodations for our whole extended family.

Awesome stay!

We had a wonderful stay! Ted was such an awesome host! The property is beautiful! There was something for everyone to do while there! We enjoyed fishing, walking the property, and a fire at night time!

Enjoy The little Things

Great start to kick off our summer!! Thanks for sharing your place for us to enjoy!! We enjoyed a nice peaceful and relaxing weekend at the farm!! We enjoyed cooking out, fishing at the lake and relaxing at at the the fire pit!! Plenty of space inside and outside the house to enjoy!! Cows came for some visits!! Would recommend to book here and enjoy!! Enjoy the little things!!

This Place Was Great!

Can't say enough good things about this home. The setting is awesome. The house has plenty of space. We met the owner, and he was extremely polite and helpful. I will be trying to stay here any time I go to the area in the future. It was great!

Secluded Getaway

The property is an actual working cattle farm. We had some great hikes walking the property. It was great to see the cattle walk down to the water hole in the morning and come back up the hill right past the house. Property was well stocked and wi-fi worked well.

Fun, relaxing weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, peaceful property. The house was beautiful, well stocked, and very clean. When we werenā€™t visiting the Amish shops, we were back at the house enjoying the peaceful beautiful landscape. It was hard to leave. We will definitely be returning.

Beyond great

Beyond great experience! The house was cuter than the pictures could show. The land was beautiful and the walking trails were fun. Definitely would recommend for a fun trip and you could stay at the house the whole time and have a blast.

Gorgeous Get Away!

We had the best girls weekend here with our two dogs! The house is absolutely beautiful and so well equipped. We spent the weekend cooking in the big kitchen, lounging in the stunning 3 seasons room and letting the dogs run around the property. We loved seeing the cows wander by the windows in the morning. Would absolutely recommend and we will definitely be back!

Off-the-Grid Beauty

A great country house with lots of land, a pond to fish/swim in, and beautiful views. Off the grid in just the right way. Ted was very helpful and responsive. The house was clean and well cared for. The location makes a day trip to Mohican State Park or Amish Country easy.

This place was wonderful!

We really enjoyed our time here and enjoyed the serenity this place has to offer. Great opportunity for nature walks. Definitely needed to slow life down and we certainly did. The kids had the time of their life playing outside. And the cows!!!!! We couldnā€™t have asked for a better get away. Thank you for a great house!!!

Family Vacation

This property is definitely a get away from the real world. It was definitely an experience without AC but the weather was perfect and no one even complained once about not having AC. The house has a big house fan and with the windows open it kept the house cool at night, and during the day we were out. The property has a good size pond on it and the boys fished a lot, and played out on the property. Just sitting back and listening to nature and catching up with family is just what we all needed. The Walmart is about 20 mins away and Kroger's about 30 mins, there are a good amount of mom and pop restaurants, and Amish restaurants & markets. I would highly recommend this property

A great stayā€¦.again!

This was our second time staying at this lovely farmhouse. During this stay, we had our extended family with us to celebrate my momā€™s 80th birthday, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! Plenty of space for each of us, and we were able to spend more time exploring the gorgeous countryside along the propertyā€™s mowed walking paths. There is no air conditioning; however, the house stayed perfectly cool with the use of the whole house attic fan. Thank you so much for providing a great stay and a beautiful memory!

Amazing Place to Stay

The house is amazing. The property is amazing. Our whole stay was totally amazing. We celebrated my 70th birthday there. Great communication with property owners. A great place to detox from the world, internet.and relax. All kinds of critters and at night, the stars are amazing, too. Close to Mohican State Park and fun towns to walk through.

Beautiful home in a gorgeous setting!

We loved our stay in this beautiful farmhouse. The home itself provided plenty of space, while feeling ā€œtogetherā€ at the same time. The property is huge, which gave tons of privacy and gorgeous views as we walked around the immediate area. Itā€™s close enough to nearby attractions, but far enough out to be peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely recommend it!

The home is beautiful and inviting. It was nice and peaceful. Having the outside grill was awesome. We stayed at the house Saturday night made steaks on the grill it was great. It was cool watching the cows and the babies
