"The lady owner was friendly and lovely from the moment I arrived.
I was made to feel very welcome and was even treated to a plate of home made biscuits.
The bed was comfy and I had an amazing night's sleep.
Breakfast was served at a time that was convenient to me and everything was very fresh. The bread and jam were also home made.
The property is in a very quiet location and in lovely gardens and provides a great place to stay during a visit to the lake district. "

"Lorna was a great host, super welcoming and chatty. Room was clean and packed with drinks and biscuits, even had marshmallows for your hot choc! Location was great, just a short walk to town down the scenic railway path. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, "

"Breakfast was excellent. Room was excellent.Only thing to mention that was my fault was to explain that I was coming by bicycle, so mine host would have been expecting me to arive by bicycle.

From the moment I arrived, my entire experience at this B&B was exceptional. Every interaction with the team felt warm, genuine, and professional — nothing was ever too much trouble, and I truly felt looked after throughout my stay.
My room was spotless, beautifully presented, and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail was clear from the fresh linens to the thoughtful layout and amenities. It felt like a perfect space to relax and unwind.
